Yes but I'm not going to vote in something that says fuck Lawrence. In the long run it doesn't matter I guess but can you name who the 1-15 teams have been? Doubt it.

Can you name me the teams that have went ofer? You sure can.

I never actively root for my team to be that special kind of bad. But I do hope we get that top pick. Double edged sword I guess.

Don’t care at all. If we go 2-14 is that really any better? The most embarrassing thing we could have done was hire Adam Gase so 0-16 pales in comparison.

I'm going to be deeply upset for about 2 weeks if we win and it costs us Lawrence--do whatever you have to do to lose every game to secure the pick. If the Jags beat Chicago, sure, go ahead and win vs. the Pats.

Best case is we don't go 0-16, we still get the top pick, and Gase is fired. But the last two things are way more important than not going 0-16.

I'd like a choice that says "No. Fire Gase and all is well".

If we go 0-16, and we continue to play the way we are we will go down as the worst team in NFL history, yet we love our GM who has gotten us almost nothing from our core of players he got and has set our organization on flames. We are bringing in Trevor Lawrence with what?Perriman, Mims, Crowder and Herndon. Every week we are missing most of them, injuries etc.Becton when healthy at o -line , maybe Fant if we re sign him.Q Williams at dt, and that is all we are really guanteed at on defense. Hewitt, and Mosely(we do not know what he will be like after almost 3 yrs off)Oh we do have a punter in Mann. Our rebuild is 3-4 yrs and we are playing in a division that looks very tough for the next few yrs. by the time we have a good team Trevor might want to walk

I have been a disappointed fan of this horrid franchise for so very long that 0-16 seems like a fitting punishment and Scarlet Letter to wear forever.

A few weeks ago the prospect of a winless season was bothersome, but lately I've been embracing the storytelling benefits.

But how many times do you name the teams with 0for to your pals when having a beer or 6?

Imagine a best case scenario that we actually go onto bigger and better things and you have somebody say haha the Jets went O/16 and you can have the pleasure of saying that Ofor gave us Lawrence and 15 years of success, who gives a fuck :)

The thing is us guys in the UK won't even get that happen to us, well certainly not me, I have nobody in my circle of talker friends/work colleagues that even talk AF right now.

The only time it will matter is on a quiz show and I will sure as fuck know the answer to that :D:D:D Jets, Lions and Browns (more if you want to go back in time)

Browns last to do so and within 3 seasons they are 9-3 and that is even with Mayfield not quite being the FQB they hoped for.

    The Trevor Lawrence fairytale.

Draft him and we'll live happily ever after aah what a nice story. Sounds exactly like the Darnold fairytale I heard back before 2018.

One problem they're still the stinkin' Jets that doesn't change. They'll still do stupid, illogical things even with Lawrence here.

Things have to be done the right way man. IF this team goes 0-16 that's the wrong way to do things. I blame the GM more than coach Gase or the players. If I had to choose I'd be more open to bringing back coach Gase than JD. The GM has to go IMO if this team goes 0-16.

Yes 0-16 bothers me. The thought of my team getting lumped in forever with the likes of the Browns & Lions sickens me. Who could've expected this one year after going 7-9 finishing 6-2 in 2019?

With all that said I don't believe this team will go 0-16. They'll likely get smoked in Seattle tomorrow but they're too hungry for a W especially after they were robbed of a certain W by Gregg Williams, they're playing too hard for coach Gase to not win a game they might win two games I think. Cleveland & New England is my guess.

I do know plenty of people who follow the sport. I'm already getting shit off them. The Lions and Browns teams are regularly mentioned as terrible and joke franchises. Jets are down there too, but this would cement their reputation as one of the worst franchises in the sport. The only escape would be to become a dominant franchise as a result and that is far from a given Lawrence or not.

I don’t care, 0 wins or 1 win, Jets have been a joke of a franchise for some time now, yes I’m that indifferent. However the hiring of Adam Gase is what sunk this organization to an all time low, hiring a recently fired losing HC while having an opportunity to give a good young HC a chance to help turn things around is more of a kick to the scrotum than an ofer for wins.

Just to make it even worse, the possibility of Gase remaining as the HC is more depressing than a winless season. I want to apologize to Lawrence ahead of time if Gase is retained.

That's unlucky for you then, the only other place that the NFL is mentioned is on a Man City forum and I only go on it and say Jets lost again lol and fuck off again :)

Where about in the UK are and didn't you play the game over here as well?

    By how much?

A Gore up the gut for 2 yards less or a Darnold sacked in the backfield for a loss of 15 less?

These things are important to the context, of course, you could just say 'couldn't' :p:p

If I get 50% of this site to say it right, I will consider that a successful life led :D:D:D

Wirral. I did play a bit briefly in the late 80s but it was very disorganised and interfered with too many other things. Team is still going and are relatively good now I think. One of my fondest sporting memories is knocking the opposition QB off his feet and into his own players on the sidelines when he was trying to run on a QB keeper. It would mean two weeks in traction if I tried it now.

I know a couple of Bucs fans pretty well and plenty of other people who support other teams too. No other Jets fans though.
