It’s always good when your stud defensive lineman who is proving himself to be a building block for the next decade speaks out publicly against a franchise decision.
He probably owes Gregg a lot for his personal growth. Everyone also know how bad the offense is and how much pressure it puts in the defense every game.
Talk about a win/win for g Williams. Send the house, if it gets home you save the franchise from an 0-16 if it fails (and it did) you’re off this shipwreck a month early. Well played sir, well played
You forgot reason 5: If Gregg had decided to defend the pass (vs attack the QB) the odds are 99.999999% the zebras call a phantom PI penalty in the EZ. Those hail mary break-up involve tons of banging and joshling for position as the ball is coming in. Gregg's only hope was to prevent to pass from being thrown. We MIGHT be able to beat Carr, but we'd NEVER beat the refs. Seen it far too many times.
Has to be Gase right? He's trying to win while his DC might've prevented one from occurring yesterday.
wow. no, there's not a 99.9999% chance of a penalty being called and even a penalty is better than giving up an easy touchdown
My mind is made up. I already stopped buying merchandise. The Jets get one more season out of me. I grew up bouncing around like many kids do. In 1990 I chose one team and stuck with them. I am tired of being connected to mediocrity, losing.and ineptitude. I want to support and cheer for a franchise that has a chance. I moved back to south Jersey this summer so I’ll either roll with my old eagles or go with the black and gold.
HAS to be gase. Gase is trying his hardest to win. NO HC want the 0-16 scarlet letter hanging on him. Gase's first victory ruined by Gregg's last play call. Gase HAD to be livid. Gase probably couldn't wait for the presser to be over with so he could put in a heads up call to Douglas/Chris and then fire Gregg in person.
