No tank needed in this one. We should get destroyed. Hopefully we can bring our “new running game”, to this one.
Hopefully the Seahawks got their shitty play out of the way today, and they'll be on a mission next week. Not that we would have beaten them today anyway.
I don’t think Hawks are losing to 2 subpar teams at home in back to back weeks. Russell Wilson to Metcalf and Lockett is going to be like taking candy from a baby.
We should be able to take a breather the next two weeks--but I am worried about Cleveland (because they might be resting starters and New England (if they are eliminated)
New England can very well be playing for the division title in week 17. Bills lose to NE and (San Fran or Pittsburgh) could both. Miami loses to Chiefs and Pats. Pats get division tiebreaker if Miami beats Buffalo in week 17. Key is they have to get by Rams.
I certainly hope so, but it will be unlikely. I think the MOST possible "good" scenario is they can mathematically get a WC spot with a win and help from other teams. Which is still great because they will have motivation to beat us, and it's at Gillette.
I think it is more likely the Pats are alive than they are not. Push comes to shove, in December I would not bet against Belicheck facing division opponents. Plus the Bills are smoke and mirrors and have not looked all that impressive for a couple months. Think about it , Bills lose to Pittsburgh Very Strong Chance Fins lose to Chiefs. Very Strong Chance All NE has to do is beat 2 division opponents, and they have the Bills at home on Monday Night.
Hopefully Cleveland will still be playing for home field advantage in the first round. Plus I'm sure they'd love to see us go 0-16 so they'd no longer be the last team to do it.
In typical 2020 fashion: Jets fans will be cheering for Jamal Adams this week! Not me. Screw that guy. Go Jets! Unfortunately, it is a really bad match-up. Russell Wilson should have a field day. Sam could have a good game and still end up losing something like 42-24.
Playoff seeding is huge. The 5 seed gets to play the weakest division winner. The only way Cleveland conceivably takes their foot off the gas in week 16 is if they win their next two and both Indy AND Miami have 6 losses, thus giving the Browns a three-game lead for the 5 seed with only two games to play. This is an almost impossible scenario. The Browns will be playing 100%.
They won't be playing for home field, but they'll be playing for wild card seeding, which is nothing to sneeze at. the 5 and 6 seeds will avoid KC in the first round. In the NFC, the 5 seed will get the NFC East winner.
