No, a good QB sees how tight that coverage is and doesn’t even bother to throw that ball. How you can blame Perriman there is asinine.
Im checking the NFL rules online and sadly a team is not allowed to take a knee to run out the season...
Perriman is a decent WR, but he ran a lazy route and never broke free. But Sam NEVER should've thrown it.
This dude Waller had one 100 yards game this season coming into this game. The Jets are making him look like prime Gronk or Kelce. When will the torture end?
I wouldn’t call Perriman good. He is serviceable, the route was trash. Never let the CB inside of you on the cut. Watch the top QB WR combos, they make that play all the time cause the receiver runs the rout like it supposed to be run.
Hall was a disaster there for sure but I have to say that overall I've been pretty encouraged by him.
Exactly. He should of immediately saw within 2 seconds how tight that coverage was and went to his next progression. It’s unfathomable how he just continued to stare him down and make that throw.
I'm thinking that "lazy" route by Perriman was because he was covered, he never thought that Sam would throw the ball to him. He ran the route only good enough to sell it for the defenders.
