Main issue not the questions themselves but the fact that Manish was basically making this guy ask questions for him (since Manish lost his credentials) and then Manish would use the guys info as if he had gotten it himself.
I dont know why people take anything he writes to heart...Sometimes hes right about alot of stuff to.The fan boys just wont accept it sometimes.
He doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt when other beat writers call him out on his BS, harasses the GM's kid, likely made a burner twitter account named after the HC's son, and had his press credentials revoked by the NFL.

Yeah the whole stalking/harassment narrative likely is a bit off from the actual truth. But whatever he did it pissed off JD enough to take action & he seems like a pretty thick skinned stoic kind of dude who im sure knew about Manish/NY tabloids before even taking the job.
bottom line is Manish doesn't care about anyone other than himself. Doesn't care about fans or team. If you feel the same way the best thing you can do is boycott his articles and even the NYDN. We deserve better
Everyone knows my thoughts on Mehta, but I will state them again for fun: He is a hack and has been a flat out embarrassment to the Jets Beat for years. Now it turns out he is a piece of shit human being too? No surprise. He is garbage. I wish fans would stop reading his stuff like I did many years ago.
I have an idea. Let's bombard the Daily News with complaints about Mehta and say that we will not read their paper ever again unless he is fired. Another idea is to write some of their advertisers and threaten to boycott anyone who advertises in the Daily News until they fire Mehta and clean up their act.

He's not Manish level unprofessional, but his snark is definitely unprofessional. Remember referring to K Ellis as a "druggie" on draft day? He snarked quite a bit even when the team was competitive and winning playoff games. We deserve better beat writers. It could be a fun job with the right attitude.
By signing two senior citizens at important skill positions (who are now both starters), not acquiring weapons for Darnold and not retaining Anderson and Adams, Douglas' intentions during the last off season cannot exactly be labelled as murky. As for this Manta thing, it evokes a nostalgic reminder of Todd vs Serby, when men solved their differences like men.
He's not supposed to care about the fans or the team. That's not his job; it's what the PR department is supposed to do.
