Some reporters are going scorched earth on Manish on Twitter today: Recommend reading that whole thread. Manish apparently heckled JD's kid, borderline stalked CJ, tried to bribe JD into giving him scoops for favorable coverage etc.
I always thought Cimini got a bit of a bad rap. Fans get upset when their team is talked poorly about, yet most of what Cimini ends up writing is true because we've been so bad for so long. I like him. He writes what he sees.
Cimini adds just a bit too much unnecessary snark to his columns to keep himself from being a really good beat.
I always despised Mehta, but he is even lower than I thought going after Douglas' kid. Mehta should be fired and never work in journalism again. If the Daily News continues to support him, they should go bankrupt. Fuck that rag and the lowlifes that run it.
The DN supports him because he did exactly what they wanted him to do: raked up shit for hits. None of this is a surprise and, frankly, I'm amazed the Jets tolerated it as long as they did. Fairly obvious to see why he supported some people to the hilt whilst trashing others for little reason now.

If they could time the firing with our firing of Gase that day would go down as a Jet Holiday similar to January 12th. One that we could celebrate every year. That being said, there should be a place for a critic of the Jets sort of like Manish but one with journalistic integrity. What, I am saying is we should have a journalist that questions the Jets and points out critical faults but not for page hits but to provide an alternative to the positive spin the team will often put on. I often agree with some of the points Manish makes but I do not trust his stories. Cimini can be critical but I do not trust his motives either. Regardless, here is hoping we can begin 2021 with no Manish, no Gase and Trevor Lawrence. It seems like forever since we have had anything to cheer about. Go Dolphins this weekend.
