As expected Jax lost their game against the Texans. I don't see any possible way that they win another game: @Packers Steelers Browns @Vikings Titans @Ravens Bears @Colts If the Jets win tonight - forget about the #1- they may even possibly win another game - either against the Fins and/or at Pats. Wouldn't put it past Belichick to not take these games seriously. Jets, for the first time will have Perriman , Mims and Crower on the field together. What a way to blow their TL chances.
I suspect the Jets will get embarrassed in this game as well. They could win a game later and miss out on #1 overall maybe, but with Flacco out there I doubt the Patriots are bad enough to lose this one.
2 people today told me the Jets upset the Pats tonight. That means a blowout for the Pats is coming. If the Jets win a game this year it’s because we really are destined to loose out on number 1 and be mediocre till the Johnson sell the team
It is difficult to watch this team play football. Even more difficult when they are QB'd by that concrete statue Joe Flacco
Jets will not win this one, missing Darnold, Q, etc on prime time? Not gonna happen. Belichick will thoroughly embarrass the Jets I do believe.
Anybody thinking the Jets might win this one, I don’t think you have been paying attention. This team is not going to win a game this year. This is the worst football team in the Super Bowl era and it is not even close. The Jets are just what the doctor ordered for Cam and the Patriots to start feeling better. I plan on going to bed at half where we will be losing 17 - 0. Final Pats 38. Jets 3
Trying to be realistic here... New England Patriots: 34. New York Jets: 13. No. I will not be rooting for a Patriots win. Yes. I will be rooting for a Jets loss (TL). If that makes any sense.
The Jaguars are a competitive enough team that they'll probably pull an upset somewhere. The Jets are much worse, yet if Belichick decides to lose on purpose...
I predicted the Jets would cover at least in the Buffalo game - I thought they had a shot at winning but the horrible 2nd half shutout sealed their fate. The Patsies aren't in the same class as the Bills so it is not inconceivable to see the 0-8 Jets pull this one out - 23-17.
That's until you realize that our Jets have a point differential of -144 @ -18.0 ppg. Only the 1976 Buccaneers were worse. We literally have 0% chance @ winning tonight.
What are our chance to see Morgan? I want to see a 27-0 blow out in the first half and Morgan comes in and steers an amazing 35-30 come from behind wind and becomes the future Jet QB. Jets draft 2 WRs in the first round.
I realized that 100%, but, much of the stats don't favor the Pats either compared to the Bills. Cam Newton hasn't impressed and I may be using semantics - it's misleading to think the Jets are going to lose just because of the point differential. . This is the game they have the best chance, even without Sam.
Believe it or not but James Morgan due to a 5 year career @ college is already 23 years old and only had a career completion percentage of 57.2 in college! I still to this day have no idea why JD would completely waste a 4th round pick on a Quarterback when it's obvious our team has too many holes with current STARTERS. I'd be ok with him as a 6th/7th round type of prospect etc but JD drafting him with a valuable 4th round pick was criminal imo. Gabriel Davis who I absolutely loved and even mocked to our Jets pre draft was selected 3/4 spots after Morgan by Buffalo out of UCF and now has 19 receptions, 275 receiving yards and 3 TDs within a now explosive Buffalo offense and coming off of 4 receptions (5 targets) 70 receiving yards and 1 TD against Seattle yesterday. JD passing on Gabriel Davis for MORGAN 4th round is absolutely criminal.
