Is it my bias or were there like MANY former recent Jets on other teams looking good, great and respectable? I’m not a stickler for raw stats but just today it was like damn seems like a few good players making plays.... winning games. we have several former OL (several!!!!) out there plus Teddy plus Robbie- then the defense castoffs like Demario, Leonard, Jamal, and Avery plus the opt out queen Mosley. Hmmmm
If someone does a mash-up of "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay" v. "Bridge over Troubled Water," they should call it "Bridgewater got me Thinking."
Leonard? Are we missing Leo now? I thought we all liked that trade. Also heard J Adams was terrible today. Demario Davis being let go now that one hurts. Thanks Maccmoron.
Grass always looks greener on the other side as well, Teddy is playing ok, but he’s part of the problem with Carolina and why they are 3-6. Anderson was a keeper but I’m moving on from that one. Jamal is a baby and cries about everything, Seattle had seven sacks on Allen and he still was not able to produce one interception in that game even with all that pressure. I believe Mayes has more interceptions than Adam’s this year. Jets need skilled players but don’t need crybabies let Jamal and his 0 interceptions and injuries stay some one else’s problem. Leonard who? You still missing Darron Lee, I believe he just signed with the Bills. Osemelee is on injured reserve with Chiefs after injuring tendons in both of his knees, he’s done for Chiefs and possibly career as he is 32 years old. Like I said, grass always looks greener on the other side.
And yet, until we got rid of him first time round the general consensus on this forum was that he was JAG. Much like the current view on Jenkins. Nothing special.
Dude was getting abused by those wheel routes back in the day though! Darren Sproles made him look like he'd never played football before
Robby one stings...but it shows you how better the coaching is offensively in Carolina. They are moving Robby all over and he's been damn near unguardable in single coverage this year, only DK metcalf has been better against single coverage all year. Lots of slants, screens and ways to get that speed in the open field. sometimes it's not about the deep plays too...get your speed guys in space, Gase doesn't know how to do that. Teddy has been meh, he doesn't have the arm strength or else Robby would probably be a top the league by a wide margin with a better QB.
It’s safe the say all of them better than what we have this year! Forgot the penalty machine, buster. I saw him give up TD in highlights. I saw Winters get hurt, Bell was just nonexistent as they did not run the ball, Leonard looked good, Adams had really bad day, one good play. McClendon was run stopper as usual. Oh and forgot ballage, was lighting it up. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
leonard williams is playing very well for the giants, regardless of how anyone felt about the deal at the time. davis is one i had no problem getting rid of, he was very stiff and a really poor cover guy. he has obviously improved quite a bit in new orleans as he was making a ton of plays yesterday. he didnt do that here. what i took from seeing similar things, not with bridgewater but with some of the others is that they are not reaching full potential here with the jets. why? thats the question. is it the coaching? is it the culture? i wonder.
Bridgewater is having a decent year, but the only reason he looks so good is because our QB looks so BAD
