There seems to be a lack of quality WR's in this years draft.

You must not follow nor watch too much college football because this year's WR draft class is fully loaded especially round 1. There were I believe 6 1st round WRs drafted last year and come 2021 there's already a guaranteed 5 first round WRs who will be drafted and at least another 5 2nd round WRs. This draft class is loaded # WR KOB.

Ja'Marr Chase, DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, Chris Olave, Rashod Bateman, Rondale Moore, and Tylan Wallace are some of the quality WR prospects in the 2021 draft.

In the draft game? Well, good thing it's not how the actual draft will work.

I feel Chase, Waddle, Smith and Bateman will all be off the board by the time our Seattle pick arrives however the likes of Marshall Jr of LSU and Ronald Moore who I both absolutely LOVE could still be available for us!

Your score is: 40215 (GRADE: A)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 4 (MIA): Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson (A+).

Round 1 Pick 5 (DAL): JaMarr Chase, WR, LSU (A).

Round 1 Pick 16 (MIA): Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson (A-).

Round 1 Pick 31: Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida (A+).

Round 2 Pick 1: Trey Smith, OG, Tennessee (A).

Round 2 Pick 4 (MIA): Terrace Marshall Jr, WR, LSU (B).

Round 3 Pick 1: Alaric Jackson, OT, Iowa (A).

    Round 3 Pick 30: Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa (A).

Round 4 Pick 1: Derion Kendrick, CB, Clemson (A+).

Round 5 Pick 1: Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama (A+).

    Round 5 Pick 2: Tyree Johnson, DE/OLB, Texas A&M (A+).

    Round 7 Pick 31: Todd Harris, FS/SS, LSU (A-).

I traded out of the #1 pick and was still able to land Trevor Lawrence 4th overall!

All together I drafted 8 offensive players (including Trevor) during the first 3 rounds in order to completely re-vamp our entire offensive side of the ball for many of years to come.

I traded away two future 1st round picks in order to provide Trevor Lawrence with a can't miss game breaking #1 WR in Chase and with our A+ cap space along with future drafts JD can focus on NOTHING BUT DEFENSE (because our offense is now set for 10+ years).

And during the first round I walked away with 4 immediate offensive playmakers within the form of a generational Franchise QB in Lawrence, his running mate and Nation's #1 RB talent in Travis Etienne, the Country's #1 WR in Ja'Marr Chase and imo the Nation's #1 pass catching TE in Kyle Pitts!

And with my two high 2nd round picks and two 3rd round picks I completed my goal of revamping our offense with 3 impact offensive lineman (to compliment Becton @ LT) and another game breaking WR in Marshall Jr out of LSU (X2).

In order to give Trevor nothing but pass catching weapons in Chase (WR), Mims (WR), Crowder (WR), Marshall Jr (WR), Pitts (TE) and Etienne (RB). Talk about Patrick Mahomes types of KC's offensive weapons; talk about 2021's NY Jets!

And with my final 4 picks, I was already so excited about our revamped offense where I just wanted to focus on shoring up our secondary.

I gave up a lot but our offensive side of the ball had been completed ignored for so long to the point of telling myself "enough is enough".

My first draft was graded much higher than this one, but I love this one 10x more (next time I'll be realistic and try and place my highest score).

This was a crazy draft. At the 1st pick of the 2nd round, Pitts, Etienne and Creed Humphrey were all sitting there. I was very tempted to take Humphrey to solidify the OL, but Pitts is just too good a talent, and unbelievably Najee Harris was still sitting there at the 1st pick of the 3rd round. None of those things would ever happen in the real draft.

Yes. This thing is super unrealistic. So unrealistic where during my last draft I traded down from the #1 pick to 4th overall and still landed TREVOR LAWRENCE! I couldn't stop laughing (see below).

What would you think of that draft NC?

Yeah the guys that run this site don't know what they're doing. They have team needs prioritized wrong or completely wrong. For instance, with the Jets, they have the top three needs as QB, DE and CB. Yes, Edge and CB are huge needs, but QB is the #1 need and the Jets (or any team who is drafting a QB at #1 in the draft) needs to build around him, so WRs, TEs, OL and RBs become more important than defensive picks. They have OT as a need fairly early, but never C or OG. As the rounds progress they have FS as a need, but I don't believe they ever list RB or TE as needs, or if they do, they're way down the list. DE, DT, CB, OLB all take priority. I don't think they ever have ILB as a need.

They pay no attention to whether OL are better in a zone-blocking scheme or man-blocking scheme. Similarly, they make no distinction with CBs as to whether they play in a zone or man scheme. There's also no consideration if your team needs a LB who is excels in pass coverage vs one who is very good against the run, but can't cover his own ass. The same thing happens with QBs (no consideration of scheme) and WRs (no consideration of whether your team needs an X, Y, or Z).

To make matters worse, they always have players rated incorrectly. They have some that will go in a lower round rated as day 1 or day 2 picks, and have others who are rated as top 75 or 100 players rated as bottom of the 7th round players. Then there's the grading system. They give you big points for making lots of trades, which simply doesn't happen in real life.

It's better than nothing, but is far from good.

Another unrealistic draft. I've seen Rumph and Oweh projected as a top 50-75 players and Divine Deablo and Amen Ogbongbemiga as top 75 or 100 players as well. There's no way JaMarr Chase falls to #21, Freiermuth to #31, and/or Trey Smith falls to the top of the 2nd round.

Your score is: 44786 (GRADE: A)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 3 (JAX): Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State (A+)
Round 1 Pick 21 (JAX): JaMarr Chase, WR, LSU (A+)
Round 1 Pick 31: Pat Freiermuth, TE, Penn State (A)
Round 2 Pick 1: Trey Smith, OG, Tennessee (A)
Round 2 Pick 10 (JAX): Jayson Oweh, DE/OLB, Penn State (A)
Round 3 Pick 1: Eric Stokes, CB, Georgia (A)
    Round 3 Pick 30: Chris Rumph, DE/OLB, Duke (A+)
    Round 4 Pick 1: Tyler Linderbaum, C, Iowa (A+)
Round 5 Pick 1: Amen Ogbongbemiga, ILB/OLB, Oklahoma State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 15 (S.F.): Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa (A+)
    Round 6 Pick 15 (S.F.): Divine Deablo, FS/SS, Virginia Tech (A+)
Round 7 Pick 31: Greg Eisworth, FS/SS, Iowa State (A+)

    Your Future Picks:
    2022 Round 1 Pick
    2023 Round 1 Pick

Yes, I do. This draft game is fun and I won't stop you or anyone else from playing. But, it's full of unrealistic scenarios like Chase sliding to 21.

I am not sure what point you are trying to make now?

It is a game, I made a comment on a game and you came on with a comment about the real life draft and now you are still throwing odd comments around.

Hey sorry man I jumped in by mistake would have been the correct response ;)

    Here's the exchange we had.
My points were that there will be quality WR's to pick from and don't let the draft game affect your thinking about how the actual draft will go. That's all.

So now you are trebling down on your mistake, what is the matter with you?

I was talking about the bloody draft game and you piled in about real-life, how many times do you need this explained to you lol

I certainly didn't need the conversation confirmed for me, maybe you should have read it again as you copy and pasted them, it quite clearly spells it out for you lol

    Game v Real life

    My comment = game chat

I see, you were talking about the game all along. It wasn't my intent to start a confrontation, just a little confusion that's cleared up now. My bad.
