He's already said he's sticking with Cam, who is definitely hungry for personal redemption. He's disgusted with his play, and will be playing hard af. This is a good sign.
I never thought in a million years I'd ever root for a Patriots win over my Jets, until 2020. What a crap year I already can't wait for next year I've hated everything about 2020. Well. To make myself feel better. I won't be rooting for a "Patriots win" but I'll be rooting hard for a Jets loss, if that makes sense.
The perfect scenario for me: We win 1 game(this one) and lose the rest and get the first overall pick. I don't want to go down in infamy as an 0-16 team.
We just traded our last stable linebacker. Does anyone remember what our run defense looked like before Williamson got healthy? If we beat NE it will be clear that they are trying to out tank us.
By the way, with Trevor Lawrence in quarantine you know darn well he is going to be watching the Monday night game with great interest. How bad do you folks really wanna look here?
We cannot win. Giants fans are already being annoying talking about Trevor going to them is the best situation by far
Who cares, shit is shit and if we go 0-16 and then win a Superbowl in the next 4-5 years who will give a single fuck about that 0? Not me, that's for sure. Something has to give we have been shit for such a long time, the franchise needs knocked down and rebuilt properly, obviously, that will never happen with the baby powder boys in charge but we have to hope that JD knows wtf he is doing.
0-16 never goes away. Neither of the teams who have gone there have become especially successful since. All for guy who may, or may not, be top drawer. I'll be rooting for the Jets to win at least 1 even if it is week 17.
There is absolutely no difference between 0-16 and 1-15; they both call for a complete locker room culture change. Just ask our 1997 Jets who went 1-15 the year before of 1996 before Bill Parcells arrived and completely changed the culture and eliminated 1996's 1-15 stink immediately; while going 9-7 throughout 1997 and 12-4 come 1998 and an AFC Championship Game vs. Elway's Denver Broncos (1996's 1-15 was then a thing of the past). Heck. The Cleveland Browns went 0-16 back in only 2017 and ended up drafting a Heisman Trophy Award Winner in Baker Mayfield the following draft of 2018 and are now 5-3 here in 2020 and within the playoff hunt (say what we say about Mayfield as a QB but the kid has heart and fight and has helped changed their locker room culture). There is no different between 0-16 and 1-15 the only difference is 0-16 guarantees us the #1 overall pick and Trevor Lawrence as a generational QB (to move forward with) compared to 1-15 which would have us drafting currently 5th while missing out on both Trevor/Fields and might as well kiss both of Chase (WR) and Sewell (OT) good bye as well. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went 0-14 in 1976 and started off 0-12 in 1977. 26 game losing streak but guess what? They've since won a Super Bowl and are currently 6-2 with TOM BRADY. The Cowboys once went winless and as did the Colts once went winless and both have gone on to win SBs so cry me a river with this whole "0-16 never goes away" myth. If anything we need 0-16. This Franchise deserves 0-16. Because we deserve a Trevor Lawrence + a complete CULTURE CHANGE.
It goes away so much that I couldn't give a single fuck for who the other teams were, in quiz questions in 10 years time nobody will be asked who was the third team to go winless in the NFL. I only care about this franchise becoming better in the next few years, winning 2 or 3 games to save some face only kicks the dying corpse of the Jets in the unmentionables once more. Drafting Lawrence alone will not make this franchise a Superbowl contender but it will be a step in the right direction, along with 4 or 5 more solid picks and then some decent FA's over the next 2 years and then hopefully, we will have already seen some progression, a position we should already be at right now if Mac had been competent at his fucking job.
First time in my life that I DON'T want to beat the Patsies!! Continue the tank, Jax probably won't win again this season.....
Agree....Jacksonville sure looks like a 1-15 team....their remaining schedule is pretty damn brutal...so I’ll be rooting for them to beat Houston this week for sure it would be just our luck to lose out on Lawrence by going 1-15 and losing on the tie breaker we NEED 0-16
Again, I have a pretty good feeling about this game. I think the Jets will win. They just announced they are wearing their Stealth Black jerseys. Likely to have Crowder, Perriman and Mims on the field together for the first time. So either I will be disappointed for being wrong for the 5th or 6th time this season, or most Jets fans will be disappointed for dropping out of the #1 pick spot. Sam also wants to erase those "33-0 seeing ghosts" demons from 2019. Jets win an ugly game, 20-17.
Seeing as the game is on Monday and I have gotten quite used to being humiliated on a Sunday I have set up one of these in my front garden... Tbh Sundays are usually worse
