I don't know how opinions can change after 20 years compared to old posts of, 2 days ago lololol I'm just busting your chops man but they've already been embarrassed. They are the only Franchise who've lost a 1st round pick due to cheating; and they've now lost 2 first rounders due to cheating (breaking their own NFL embarrassing record). They'll become even more embarrassed once they miss the playoff this year and 3-5 won't put them in playoffs position with a win vs Jets so words from the wise... WHO CARES?!??!? The Jets are in position to draft a generational QB in Trevor by FAR the greatest QB prospect coming out since Peyton Manning and 3x more the generational prospect of Andrew Luck (who was great behind no oline in Indy).. I don't want the Patriots to take that away from us (when we currently have the worst QB within the entire league ranked 32nd and dead last in QB Rating) because they've already tortured us for 20 years. I love the Jets more than I have the Patriots and enough is enough already. Seattle: Russell Wilson. Packers: Aaron Rodgers. Cardinals: Tyler Murray. Steelers: Big Ben. Ravens: Lamar Jackson. Bengals: Joe Burrow (greatest rookie season ever stat wise). Texans: Desaun Watson. Chiefs: Patrick Mahomes. NY Jets: Trevor Lawrence. I want the Jets to actually join the NFL party, sometime soon especially with QBs such as Brady and Brees on their way out. To root for a Patriots win over our 0-8 Jets when we're in striking position of TREVOR LAWRENCE is criminal and words from the wise... Fk NE!
Look. I didn't know we were playing them on Monday Night until yesterday. I also expected them to win against Bills and they lost. So now they are on a 4 game losing streak. And Jets are 0-8. As of today I want Bill to be embarrassed on National TV by an 0-8 Jets team. Mine isn't logical, it is emotional. That's it.
Just imagine the fan base reaction if the Jets beat the Patriots come Monday Night. It'll become a depressing night in Jets history and we will not be happy. At all. Jets beat NE? And fans of N.E, Miami and Buffalo begin to laugh @ us even more @ 1-8 because they've got Tua/Allen while N.E joins the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes from the outside looking in. And Jets beat N.E? Omg. NY Giant fans will hit cloud 9 while dreaming of a Trevor Lawrence/Saquon Barkley dynamic QB/RB duo for years to come. We'll have to share a stadium with the Giants for the next 20 years as Trevor Lawrence leads them back to greatness (from within our locker room, but on a different NY team). N.E fans (they don't want us to get Trevor). Miami fans (they have Houston's 2021 1st). Buffalo fans. Giants fans. Lawrenceville Jaguars fans. Etc will ALL be rooting for a Jets win come Monday Night. Is that what you really want Brooke!? Because I don't. The only ones who could become embarrassed on National TV are the Jets. By not only beating the Patriots but also pissing away a generational QB prospect into the hands of another Franchise. A Jets win Monday Night and we'll hit rock bottom as an all time Jets low. Would become the worst "win" in Franchise history.
An update on Sam's shoulder will give me a better idea of this game. If he is good to go, they have a good chance to win. If not, Flacco will lose. Could be close either way. If the Patriots blow out the Jets, Gase probably is gone on Tuesday.
well I for one would rather we get hugely embarrassed on national TV. That is one of the best weapons we have to get the Johnsons to actually fire Gase...for us to be utterly embarrassed.

I don't know the flex schedule rules I can't remember so I'm not sure if it's too early within the season to flex games but an 0-8 team vs. a 2-5 team? On Monday Night Football? Embarrassing. Seattle/Buffalo Baltimore/Indy. Chicago/Tennessee. Arizona/Miami. Tampa Bay/New Orleans. Would all make for much better and more exciting MNF matchups. Schedule makers dropped the ball on this one...

Maybe I’m crazy, but I am legitimately worried that we can pull out a W here....Jax is not likely to win another game and they hold the SOS tiebreaker over us. The only way to get the top pick is to go 0-16, but these Pats are a joke I hope Belichick pride is enough to get them the win this week
