Season is over for Jets but it wasn't over for Dolphins when they benched Fitzy to see what they have in Tua. They are still in playoff hunt and we are the top pick. So what's the point of still giving all those carries to Frank Gore? What's the point of not throwing 50/50 balls Mims way? This year should be all about securing top pick while playing rookies to see what we have in them.

I am SICK and TIRED of seeing Berrios drop passes that hit his hands and fair catch punts....enough already I am SICK and TIRED of seeing Herndon drop passes and fumble the few he does catch...seriously...he’s gotta have more drops+fumbles than he has catches...bench his ass ... I don’t know what happened to him but he has been one of the biggest flops this year when we REALLY needed him to step up I am SICK and TIRED of seeing our putrid OL not block anybody half the time...seriously we make every team we play look like the Sack Exchange...we need three new interior OL...I don’t think any one of them is worth shit...they play like they’ve never seen a blitz before...come on guys...this isn’t the first two weeks anymore....can’t use communication as an excuse I’m sorry but Perine has not shown much to impress...he looks like he could have been an undrafted RB to me...not much speed or burst; I’m sure our putrid OL is a big part of it but I’ve seen nothing special so far from him...I certainly would not want to go into next year with him as our top RB We have so very few keepers on this roster....on defense I can see a few guys...Franklin-Meyers, Q, Bless, and Maye I guess. I absolutely fucking hate how Berrios slaps (in a friendly manner) the first opponent he meets helmet after each fair catch. Like every time. I seriously hate him.
Not to be a know-it-all, but I did NOT like the Gore signing from day 1. I thought the jets were rebuilding so WTF do the jets need a 37 old RB for? Don't give me that "locker room presence" BS. Win football games and the locker room is fine. For some reason Gase always starts him and gives him a lot of snaps. WTF good will that get us next year? Adam Gase does not even know how to give the younger players a chance when the season is already over.
Berrios is a solid depth WR. He is what he is... Def no fault of his own but I'd rather him not return punts
Has value as a backup slot receiver but to timid as a punt returner, I know you have to fair catch alot of punts but not every punt
Gore should retire he's just taking carries away from Perine, keep throwing to Mims, they stopped in the 2nd half the last 2 games, the only draft pick who looks lost out there is Ashytin Davis, Bechton is a beast
That should always be the plan for the rebuilding year if Gase can figure it out how to get these guys the experiences they need. They have to give Ty Johnson more carries at the real part of the game, not garbage time. See what he has. I desperately want to see what Morgan has. I know it’s going to be more like week 12 before he gets a chance but get the guy some work in to be the teams back up for several years down the road. I did not care for the Davis pick at all. He s one guy that doesn’t look like he fits or the game is too fast for him.
Hill took Davis to school on that long td but in fairness he does that to alot of people, Davis just doesn't react quick enough, always a step behind and gets faked out too easy
Not just the rookies, but Darnold. The only way to do that is with a different coach, even he he wears the "interim" title. But I've said this before. Oh, well...
I know everyone wants to see the rookies get game time, so do I, but they are still rookies. And most of them are mid to low round picks. They are that for a reason. They have to grow. I'd much rather they progress at the right rate and become good players a year or so down the line rather than be thrown in the deep end in a dog shit team that's losing before it starts. If that means limited snaps and sharing time with someone like Gore this year then so be it. Frustrating I know, but so is everything about this season.
