The Jets aren’t scoring more than 10 on their defense. Even with Crowder back, they are that bad. NE with Cam is still better than 10 points. This will be an easy win for the Pats. This is the worst offense in the history of the league.
It will be interesting now that the Patriots are in the running for the 'tank for Trevor' race. They may start trading pieces away.
We'll see. A four game losing streak is pretty bad they're not coming into this one with a full head of steam. The Jets have shown some signs of life the past two weeks just have to start competing for four quarters instead of one half. Mims looks like the real deal so far. I'm sure Belichick would love for it to be a easy win he'd run up the score if he can but I don't think he has the team to pull it off this year. I really think the Jets can win this one IF they get some guys back and IF they build on how they've played in the first half the past two weeks even with Cam in there. IF they come out flat they'll catch another beatdown.
I think Belichick will still want to win this one, but if they lose, or they have a shot at getting the #1 pick, or they have a shot at denying the Jets the #1 pick with the final game against them, I fully expect him to throw that game.
I was a little bit scared when it was 14-9 but I knew our complete lack of adjustment at half time would mean that we would achieve exactly nothing in the second half and I was right - phew
The absolute worst irony ever for a Jet fan is if after 12 years of total domination, the Pats even manage to tank better than us. It would be the end of the world for this team.
The Jets haven’t stopped a QB all year though. Cam is definitely better than Rypien from Denver. Even with mini strides, I don’t see them scoring 20+ to win that game and we know this god awful secondary is going to give Cam his biggest passing day of the year. Desir and Austin at CB is a dream come true for any Qb to go up against.
