I did my leaves yesterday unfortunately so I'll be watching the game.. My wife and all my inlaws are from Western Mizzou and are rabid Chief fans so I'm in for a brutal afternoon. Might start drinking early today..
I don't feel like watching today's game. I'll force myself to watch some of it before the score gets crazy in KC's favor and I shut off the tv. Such is the state of Joe Douglas' New York Jets.
Ease into it, try highwest bourye, its a blend of bourbon and rye so not as heavy but lots of flavor. As for me, I'm in 88 degree weather in Fla for a few more weeks so I need something cold while watching redzone, Vodka and fevertree elderflower tonic does the job ; )
Too bad we haven’t activated Morgan, although I’m ok this week with having Flacco because in a minute we can potentially have him move the ball and con a team into trading a pick for him. Going fwd, unless he’s a train wreck, Morgan needs to be active. This would be the perfect game for him
It turned out to be more of a football game than I expected going in even though the scoreboard doesn't show it. They made KC work for most of those points. The offense has to learn to operate in the second half of games. Four quarters not only two. Yes it was another blowout loss but I'm seeing a glimmer of hope this team avoids 0-16. IF it happens I'll celebrate that 1 win like it was a SB victory for real. I'd hate for my football team to be lumped in with the likes of the Lions & Browns forever.
New England is now on a four games losing streak. Wow. If the Jets get all their guns back for that one, Darnold plays and they give the kind of effort they've given the past two games they might beat New England.
