100% spot on. Belichick WILL tank that last game unless he really needs it for play-offs. I don't think players will tank, but he may "rest" Newton, he may call a few plays he needs to call to lose that game if that means Jets don't get Lawrence.I really hope #1 pick will be secured by the last game, or that Patriots really need a win. If not, he will absolutely tank, no doubt in my mind.

This is my biggest concern at the moment. I’ve mentioned before that it’s not a good look too get rid of all of the best players on the team then fire the coach for not winning any games. I mean, imagine that conversation between JD and Gase: JD: we’re getting rid of Adams Gase: ok JD: we’re not resigning Robby Gase: ok JD: we’re releasing Bell Gase: ok JD: Adam, this team looks awful. What’s the problem? Gase: ... Fortunately (and sadly) the head coach has a history of being terrible and the media hates him, so JD at least has that on his side. The longer Gase stays, the more concerned I will become.

I don't watch college football so take this with a grain of salt. I didn't hear Trevor Larewnce name until recently as in this Jets season. I remember hearing about Sam Darnold and how good the 2018 QB draft class would be a good year maybe more before Darnold came out. I remember people saying to pass on Mahomes & Watson wait for the 2018 QB class. Be careful what you wish for. The Destroyer's 'evaluation' of Darnold is questionable at best under the circumstances he created.
Trevor Lawrence won a national championship as a true freshman 2 years ago and played in the national championship vs. Joe Burrow and LSU last year. You having not heard of him until now says way more about you than him.
lol the browns passed on him out of stupidity and that's an awful excuse. I guess mahomes sucks because the bears passed on him for trubisky and 9 other teams passed on him for a non QB including us. stats mean nothing. bakers stats have plummeted in the NFL and he's borderline being replaced already. Baker is turning into sanchez. Sam is screwed over by his franchise, meanwhile lamaar jackson (who was the 5th QB drafted that year) has won a league MVP, made the playoffs, and made the pro bowl. and BTW I was the one who said to trade back for lamaar and more picks and everyone here told me he sucks and that baker and sam are special and we need one of them. Everyone here also said allen sucks meanwhile he's playing better then baker or sam. DO you not see history repeating itself
Baker hasn't been good but you do realize that over his career he's had a better YPA, completion % and TD/INT ratio than Sam, right?
he's also had a great o-line. 2 top 10 WRs. 2 pro bowl RBs and some other great skill position players
Jaguars schedule definitely has me concerned. Could easily see them losing out. Really looks like 0-16 is the only way to be sure of the #1.
Remember hiring Gase brought us Joe Douglas so Gase's hire didn't set us back at all. The FO is stripping the roster bare. Theres no intention of winning. There will be a few 1-2 win teams at the end of the season. There are only 6-7 now and looking at the schedule there are multiple games between those teams. With more than 1/2 a season to play, SOS will fluctuate weekly so it's tough to determine the final SOS this early. Were in the best position to land the first pick. Hopefully that holds up.
Per PFF 2018 - ranked 2nd (his rookie year) 2019 - ranked 23rd 2020 - ranked 6th going into the season, ranked 3rd by week 3 So yeah 2019 they weren't good but nowhere as awful as the jets. they are ranked top 3 his rookie year and so far this year
