He looks great. I worry a bit about his tendency to push off just b4 the ball gets there. He's really good at it but that will draw flags.
Must be...he kept his left hand extended behind him the whole route and pushed off the defender as the ball was coming in (several times). Even the announcers complimented him on how well he gets separation by pushing off.
Another reason to fire Gase ASAP - we don't need him screwing up any more of our young players on his way out.
Davis has been back last two weeks. I expect him to have more of a look on defense now he's been able to practice and play.
Two, actually. One that basically killed his whole camp, and then the other leg as soon as he got back on the practice field.
While I am no football "genius" hahaha, what I noticed from this highlight reel is Plays thru contact Hands catcher, doesnt let ball get close to his body Strength Catch radius Puts his foot in the ground while running routes High points the ball Granted this is a highlight reel, against the B12, it doesnt show anything negative
I have 0 doubts about Mims the player. Outside of his hamstrings, my biggest fear is how we will fuck him up. Clearly he's not going to develop with this staff, so is playing 10ish games under them going to completely annihilate his growth? I want to see him play but if this super high powered ultra productive offense is so difficult to learn as the players say, I don't think it's wise to be tossing him out there right away.
You’re not allowed to, some guys are better at masking pass interference than others. Mims did what would technically be pass interference a lot in college, but rarely got called meaning he likely has a good understanding of what refs can see. Hopefully it translates well, it’s some DeAndre Hopkins does a lot as well.
