The Jets are the worst team in the league... by far. So its not a question of getting the top pick. The better question is what can they get for Sam Darnold? Would teams with old starters be interested? For example Colts, Steelers, Saints, Vikings, Bucs, etc... could the Jets get a 2nd?
I think the team we have the best shot of beating this year is the Dolphins. By moving up the game a few weeks it should be much easier to figure out our future draft position so much earlier. After we play them we will know who this team really is.
Nope. He's ruined mentally until proven otherwise. His confidence is shot. He's shown 0 leadership ability @ QB and looks like complete dog crap. We'd be lucky to get a 5th round pick for him.
For those saying we have a shot at beating the dolphins seen them play this year? We will lose to them both games by double digits
Keep in mind he's 23, many players don't even start their careers until 23. He has time to recover from our fuckery
How does the worst team In the league, also, have the hardest schedule as well? I mean.. ..and yet, If the season ended today, we'd only have the 3rd pick In the draft. Oh, also, the 32nd pick In the draft. Fuck this team.. Fuck the Seahawks... Just... Fuck.
Fk JD for even sending him to a real SB contender in Seattle. 6th overall pick but yet we'll get 2 players who are nowhere near the level of #33? Fuck JD.
Seattle looks like a super bowl contender so this pick mine as well be a 2nd rounder with the way that the Jets draft.
Exactly. 6th overall pick who turned into a multiple pro bowler and all pro and future HOF player for chances are 2 late 1st round busts. Only time will tell but I've just been absolutely disgusted with the trade and outside of one player Becton absolutely disgusted with JD and @ 0-5 and on pace for 0-16 it's hard to get over.
Not many 2-2/2-3 teams so far and our ‘rival’ 0-5 teams are playing 1-4 opponents. There could be a large group of 1-5 teams next week. We’ll need to suck hard to get the #1. We might have to go 0-16
We're currently sat 3rd with 12 teams having less than 1 win. If we won next week for example, that would take us to picks 9-10. Its going to be tight at the bottom. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Tapatalk
I think the Jets can realistically win these games (With Sam): -Dolphins -Patriots -Dolphins -Patriots -Chargers -Browns -Raiders -Bills So 8 games left out of 11. The other 3: Seahawks, Rams, Chiefs seem like sure losses. Now the Jets won't win all 8 of the games I listed, but to assume they will lose all 8 is ridiculous. In fact, they will probably win half. If so, that takes them to (4-12). Not sure where that will put them in the draft order.
FWIW, 4-12 got the Jets pick number 4 in 2006, pick number 6 in 2008 pick number 6 in 2015, and pick number 3 in 2019. And I think we'll be lucky to go 4-12, but your optimism is a welcome sight here.
