Whatever mojo Williams had as a DC is clearly long gone at this point. Considering the relative amount of talent on the two sides of the ball, the defense is underperforming just as badly as the offense is.

Mccarthy wouldn't have been able to do anything with this D since his team is 1-3 because his defense is garbage. It's hard to compare the offensive talent in dallas so who knows if it would've been any better. At least he's not a complete moron like Gase so it would've been better in that respect alone.

Sorry, my friend, but I couldn't disagree more. Look at how the Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are playing with McCarthy gone. McCarthy was not the answer. He's too conservative and his offense is too dated.
People have known this all offseason. This is nothing new. A good OC would scheme guys open or be imaginative in their playcalling. Gase, not so much...
