Yes, I referenced that in my post, as you quoted. That's a running SOS--it is calculated game-by-game. By the end of the season it will look very different-- Look at the schedule, the Jets have much tougher remaining opponents than the Texans.
Lol Who are they going to beat? They will beat one of the future playoff teams in a big upset You do realize there are major upsets all of the time in the NFL? And they will beat 1 or 2 non-playoff teams You actually think Sam is that bad that he would go 0-16? Sorry but that’s catastrophic thinking, a fallacious thought process that is usually triggered inside the minds of really emotional people Granted, as a diehard Jets fan you are entitled to be overly emotional right now, that’s not a knock on you or anybody else But it’s simply not rational to think Darnold is that lousy a QB as to go winless on a team with a halfway decent defense like the 2020 Jets
The jokes on you!!! I'm hardly emotional. I've been trying to calm posters on this site down for a week or two. I'm totally calm. Yes, I know that there a major upsets all the time, but that doesn't mean that this team will accomplish it. In Gase's offense, where Sam is not a good fit, yes, he is playing so inconsistently and so badly, when combined with Gase's awful playcalling and offense that doesn't adjust, the Jets and Sam could easily go 0-16. If you haven't noticed, Sam is playing worse, not better than he was two years ago. His confidence is shaken, his fundamentals are falling apart. He may still be able to be salvaged, but probably not with the Jets, at least as long as Adam Gase is the HC. Of course, that doesn't mean that they will go winless. It's hard to do, but imo the Jets have a great chance of going winless. The Jets never win when they should. They lose to winless teams, and then upset a playoff team. Whenever the Jets need to lose out to secure the draft position they need to get a certain player, they always screw it up. They win a meaningless game or two that's just enough to mean that they don't get the edge rusher or QB they want and need.
Jets will beat Miami once and either the Raiders or the Browns to go 2-14. Hopefully that will be enough to get them the top pick. Giants will win 3 games between the crappy NFC East division and the Bengals. Atlanta is competitive and has too much talent to not win 3. Houston will end up winning at least 4-5 games.
The Jets totally suck in 2020 Thru 4 games, that’s a very strong argument With Darnold as your starting QB, as long as Greggorious Williams doesn’t resign as DC in the middle of the season, it’s very unlikely this team will go completely winless If you look at teams that go 0-16, they don’t have a guy like Darnold and a DC like Greggorious Jets D isn’t completely bottom of the barrel They should win a pretty low scoring game against another team with a crappy offense A fumble recovery and a pair of INTs wins them a 2nd game That’s all I’m saying
Why get excited for the draft at this point? Like we are tortured enough every year by the results of past drafts. Great we get the first pick. What then? The Johnsons sell some jerseys, some tickets, and other nonsense. It’s tough to be looking towards the draft when we have this coaching staff on the payroll.
Bunch of 0-4 teams have winnable games. Falcons against Panthers. Texans against Jaguars. Go Falcons and Texans.
I thought we had one or two wins in us. Nah, we’re not winning any games this season. The Falcons might have 1 or 2 wins in them though. We’re on a fast track to the first pick, just pray the Giants won one. I have that much faith in them...they got this.
Well the Texans got their win. The Jaguars already have one. We need Washington, the Giants, and Atlanta to pick up wins.
I can’t see the Giants losing both games to the Redskins and Atlanta will definitely beat Denver. This team is on a fast track to the #1.
Giants are winning today. Cowboys D is trash and Garrett knows how to beat them. Falcons will start winning once Julio Jones come back healthy. Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley have 2-3 wins in them. We will screw this up and win at least 2 games for sure. I just hope it is enough for the #1 pick. Draft Lawrance, pour money for Jim Harbaugh and hope for the best.
The Jets are going 0 - 16: It is going to be tough and challenging but I know they have it in them. There is no chance that Gase is going to keep this locker together and motivated. Individual guys playing for jobs may play hard but it will not be a concerted team effort in terms of winning.
