Yeah I have to say I've noticed that along with all our usual issues another slight problem the Jets have this season is that they can't stop anybody. This is unbelievable. Basically if you throw out Darnold between the injuries, Adams trade, and the Mosley opt out this already below average team has been stripped of its 10 or so best/most important players and its just not even fair right now. I managed to make it until the 3rd quarter pick-six and I just couldn't even watch anymore. The Jets have no players.
Yep, and we'll get the last few wins at the end of the season, including an unlikely win over a good team, which will tell the Johnsons that Gase is making progress. He'll get another season, we'll have a bottom-of-the-top-10 pick and most of the guys we really wanted will be gone by then. To make matters worse, they'll probably blame and fire JD for this mess, and pick up a new GM who will continue the tradition of picking DTs in the first round.

How in the world did the fake spike game make you a Jets fan??? That blows my mind. I was ready to quit being a fan of the team following that game.
I have become a big fan of the NFL Red Zone, I can't watch this team any longer. At least with Red Zone I get to see how teams are supposed to play and score.
For me it would be easy. The first team I was a fan of was the Packers during the Vince Lombardi years. After Lombardi left, they went to shit and Namath and the AFL arrived and I was hooked. I love Aaron Rodgers, so it would be very easy to go back to rooting for them (I still do), even though I've never even been tempted to join a Packers' fan site. I heard a statistic in the game last night that if I heard it correctly, stunned me. It's that Rodgers has never had a first round pick WR in his years with the Packers, and that only one of his receptions has ever gone to a former 1st round player, and that is Mercedes Lewis, TE. Rodgers also is blowing away the competition in terms of career TD to interception ratio and in some other categories. That said, in some ways the Packers are just as inept as the Jets, because they haven't surrounded Rodgers with as much talent as they should have. There is no reason why they shouldn't have won at least 3-4 SBs with Rodgers at QB.
I mean every single time a big name player is avl for a trade we say hold on to our valuable picks (b/c we're the best at drafting) we don't have a single big time playmaker not a single one. The rare time we draft a stud we trade him or let him walk ... (oh he won't fit our system) wash rinse repeat, what do you expect. CHANGE THE EFFING SYSTEM Oh he will cost too much money on the cap he isn't worth it, we're so worried about the owners money. here we are saving money for useless cap space and picks that will bust. GO JETS
I was 11, I got steered in the wrong direction by family. My Dad was a longtime fan and I was taught to hate the Giants and every other AFC East team. I still resent my friends who were Giants fans see several superbowls.
I watched the first qtr and turned it off.I had other stuff to do that was more important then wasting time on another bad Jets game.Ever since Gase i dont watch the entire games anymore only a handful.
This season makes me miss the Rex era when our team had promise and swagger. Not to mention knocked off Peyton and Tom in the playoffs on the road in dramatic fashion.
He had no clue how to run a 2 minute offense but man those teams were fun ... best Jet teams of my 36 year old life
The Jets have sucked since they walked off the field in Pittsburgh at the AFCCG. Oh yeah, we had the great Fitzmagic year where they lost two times to the Bills including the last game in the season thereby missing the playoffs. The only thing that was supposed to make them bearable to watch at this point was the hope of Darnold developing and even that's gone to crap. At least in the 00 decade the Jets would break your heart, but they usually were decent enough to give you hope. Since the days of the butt fumble this franchise has been a big turd.
