Chargers set up a perfect hook-and-ladder play that will win the game against Carolina and they mess up the lateral and lose instead.
Russell Wilson with 14 TD passes through his first three games, an NFL record. The last one really was only an okay pass, but Wilson had a ridiculous amount of time in the pocket waiting for the play to develop. Jamal Adams is out with a groin injury for Seattle. It was a non-contact injury that occurred while he was rushing Dak Prescott.
Blatant offensive PI but it cannot be challenged. I hate this challenge bullshit. Why can certain things be challenged but others can't? Total bullshit
You have to wonder what they're smoking in GB. This team was in the NFC CG last year and they are positioned to win now. But they drafted a backup QB with the 1st round pick and a backup RB with the 2nd round pick. I think Jordan Love will make a fine QB but he's very raw and needs to be developed. They could have done a lot better with their draft than picking up short term backups at their strong spots.
Awful, awful play by Janoris Jenkins: Rodgers draws them offsides for a free play, and Jenkins idiotically thinks that means he can commit all the PI in the end zone he wants because it's a "free play." Idiot - it's free for Green Bay, not for you. Instead of a five-yard penalty Green Bay gets the ball on the 1 and eventually score the touchdown.
Obviously at least one special teams coach was not impressed with the massive criticism the Falcons got last week for leaving the onside kick alone as the receiving team until it went 10 yards, as the Packers just did the exact same thing. This time the ball went out of bounds before 10 yards and that was the game (which of course is exactly what the Falcons hoped would happen last week). The Atlanta ST coach certainly must feel vindicated.
I know it's easier said that done, but it's mind blowing to me to watch Kamara continue to kill you all game long while he stands in the flat by himself. Not sure how they let Brees continue to check it down to him. On the 52 yard touchdown run he was standing there with 8 yards of space. As soon as he broke one tackle he was gone.
Wow. So that is what it looks like to not have a turn over or someone scoring on us with the first play.
I think Lamar Jackson gets this one tonight. It Chris Jones gets turned by the interior lineman like he did vs. the Chargers, the Ravens are going to run wild.
I agree. He has the #1 QB Rating of all time too and imo the most talented QB I've ever seen play the position.
