I have watched the worst jet football in the last 50 yrs!!! Really dude we are 32nd in almost every category, we look unprepared, the locker room is toxic, and the product is poor! A weak schedule and the Bills resting their starters played a big part in that run. Something tells me that won't be happening this year.
Gase has failed utterly in every facet of the game. This is his second year as coach and you can't point to one single way he has made the team or any player better. He is a cancer that should be fired immediately.
We should have fired him last year! We were out of contention, cake schedule, and bad football overall. We sucked even the record. It was literally hard to watch. Couple of those wins all on Adams back. I thought we played 1 good game, and that was against Dallas. We could well have been 1-15, if not for some luck and tanking teams. I know a lot of people too, that doesn't make me an NFL head coach. Let's go back and try to justify his hiring initially - what made him qualified? Has that been proven out? What is he doing that indicates he should be retained? Don't bother with injuries, lineups, bad drafting history, tough schedule, etc. - just show us the positive attributes you see for Gase as head coach.
Or Tannenbaum got lucky at first and unlucky after that. Regardless, he was still better than Idzik and Maccagnan.
I was on your team all season last year. And into the off-season and the start of the year. The fact is that the team is just not playing hard for this coach. 3rd and 31 draw plays for first downs is unseen ugliness. 37 points in 3 weeks is an abomination when the first meaningful points we've scored in a game were the 7 we scored this week. Whether it's his fault or not too, his entire roster is always hurt and it's followed him from Miami. I don't know how it's possible but it's happening here too.
I definitely agree that he was better than Idzik and Maccagnan, but not that he was better than Douglas as someone said.
Looks like crazy eyes is gonna walk the plank Friday. I actually feel bad for him, looks very beaten down, and the offense is bereft of talent. That said, the other antics and lack of results greatly outweigh those emotions. I’m also not 100% sure Douglas is the man I want using our $ and picking the players. I wonder if things keep heading south if woody would dump him too. That said, whatever happens, I will always love Gase for removing Mcagnan. That was his last good act before hitting the timer on his suicide vest..that will go off week 4
