Agreed. The other issue we'll have is that, when he's fired, that will probably take us out of the running for the first pick. I firmly believe that Gase can get us to that #1 pick. He's got that kind of coaching talent. But Gregg Williams? I fear his competence could get us 2, 3, or 4 wins, taking us out of contention for Lawrence or that massive haul of draft picks.

Perhaps a lot. It depends upon how much influence/say that Douglas has. Besides, he would be the appropriate person to go to rather than the owner even if Gase and he are peers. Douglas could then go to CJ and tell him that the players have come to him and want Gase gone, or he could set up a meeting with the players and CJ.

100% Darnold has made two of the same mistakes he made 3 years ago. Gase needs to go, but both of those interceptions were on Darnold. One of which cost us points
I totally get it guys and it's probably a part of the branding when Gase was brought in as the "Offense/QB Whisperer", but think we need to keep in mind that Gase is responsible for the whole team, especially the offense/QB. If the team stinks, it's speaks to his lack of leadership...If the offense/QB stink, it's speaks to his lack of expertise...Not much he's good at. Bill Parcells would be accountable for all of it, then again, he was good at all of it too and it showed. Gase is not good at any of it and it truly shows.
I agree but you can't fix stupid. Darnold made two horrendous decisions. You can have the best coach in the world, but you can't blame him for those throws
Can't even say it's the lack of receivers when he's throwing it consistently in the area of noone or a sea of opponents.
