I'd rather a player didn't play hurt myself, not a stubbed toe kind of hurt but playing with a hamstring issue is like playing with the Devil, it will get you in the end and then once it has gone once it will always be a weak point in your body and other more serious injuries the same, like Q playing with ankle issues last year, it did him no favours, in the end, it weakened him to the point of making him just look a bad player. Especially in this season, it is already evident any wins are just going to be fluff on top of a pile of dog shit, I have said before I'[d rather go 0-16 than win 3,4, 5 or even 6, 7 or 8 poxy games, not one of those totals will get you anywhere in this game, the only thing I will concede is that it would maybe be better for morale but I am not really arsed about the morale of a 3-7 win squad of below average players. I want to see us be in with a chance of winning something and not just reaching a wild card spot, challenging for the title, I think we have all waited long enough for this, saying that plenty on here would be happy to see them win 7 games a season and ultimately not challenge for a single thing, odd really.
And our luck, Gase will probably win this. Hope he loses miserable and shown the door! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I honesty can’t imagine the jets looking remotely competitive today with no WRs, but Indy did lose to jags... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For what it’s worth, Geoff Schwartz on ESPN radio just said that he heard “Gase is gone, he’s just not fired yet“ and that it will happen during the season.
Yup. Chris Johnson fucked this up to begin with, you have to assume he will fuck it up again until he doesn’t.
Or until someone locks his dumbass in a dark room and Woody hires a real FB professional to run the show.
There is also the belief that possibly Chris Johnson realizes he's fucked up and it's time to let Joe Douglas handle things. I know that's crazy to believe, but it is now clear that they are hearing us on the other side. Maybe, just maybe, he will hand the keys over to Douglas and let him take control
Everyone can see it. Except we have the passion for now and dont have to think about pr, money, hiring, replacement staffing etc. Theres three options for gase and this is where the outside noise and performance makes it. 1: after denver on a longer week 2. Bye week but thats week 11. 7 would of been more prefferable by managment i think. 4. End of the season. If we beat denver, he gets to the bye. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Tapatalk
It's sad that Christopher Johnson has to hear the "Outside Noise" to realize Gase is a problem, instead of just watching the team on the field. It is obvious. Makes you wonder about his intelligence.
When the players quit on you before the season even begins, that’s a clear cut sign the coach has gotta go. Shit as a generally optimistic fan, I also quit on this season before it even began. It’s been pretty obvious to just about everyone except C.J. and Douglas that Gase is a horrible choice to lead this time. Now this season is about salvaging Darnold, or at least finding out what we have in him without Gase. Time to let Williams and Jim Bob take over, and please make some sort of move at WR.
Were you under the impression that CJ was a football savant? He's the Owner's lil bro and it's been a catastrophe. In the words of Maya Angelou; "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.."
Johnson strikes Me as a guy that cares a lot about public perception. Clearly his political views are what they are but he still made plenty of statements about supporting players kneeling even last year before it became much more widely accepted around the league. He sees that his team’s and his own public image are extremely poor right now. If that’s what it takes to make the obvious change then I’m all for embarrassment until it happens.
