Not being able to get over it is one thing. Saying it three times on the first page of a thread is another.
he got a great deal all things considered. once the situation became untenable i doubt that many teams were offering first round picks for him. seattle had a big need and felt that he was one of the best players in the league and did what they had to do to win now. he is definitely the best defender on their team and a game changer. as we can all see our dc isnt quite as brilliant as he was last year when he had one of the most dynamic defenders in the league. and seattle has been using him in a similar fashion at times. it sucks they will be low picks but they are still first round picks and will give the jets the opportunity to draft some decent players. bad teams i dont think would want to trade for him. its hard to build around a safety, however when you have a strong team he is the type of guy that can put you over the top. and seattle is apparently all in.
I'm just surprised he has not brought back his 5 or 6 other user names on here to say the same thing. Not sure why the douche was let back on here after being banned 6 times.
With our #1 overall draft pick it could very well be Trevor Lawrence. However with our two 1st round picks from Seattle over the next two years I hope that we continue drafting O-lineman with Becton looking like a real Franchise LT and we draft a 1st round Center and another 1st rounder on a RT. Giving either Darnold/Trevor three first rounders on the O-Line in Becton, Center and RT. And then use our other 1st round pick on a WR (if we draft Trevor). I just hate seeing Jamal playing like an animal in Seattle. I hate it.
i think the team will be able to add a bunch of quality players because of that trade and our current mess of a team. we could have a top 4 or 5 pick, then a late first round and a top 4 or 5 pick in the 2nd round. so 3 potential first round quality players. i am not sure what needs i would address this early in the process but they will be able to address alot of things through the draft at this point. my hope is that douglas is smarter than most and realized the coach is a buffoon, they are holding onto him because the talent isnt good enough anyway so why pay 2 guys and they will add a decent coach next year. i am not mad at adams, i am rooting for him. i think hes a special talent and wish it had worked out here. but it surely didnt.
with san fran having so many injuries and arizona coming back down to earth their schedule looks really good for them at 4-0. the rams will give them games and buffalo will as well. other than that philly, new york, new york, washington, minnesota. definitely not going to be a 5-11 year in seattle.
