This is no longer about losses. What if we go 0-5, or 0-7 or 0-10, Should Gase get fired then. No, this is about a HC that is not capable to make the team better nor competitive. Sure we have injuries, so do many other teams. SF lost two top D players, and had a QB in one leg throwing.....yet we didn’t change shit, instead of going for the throat we play how not to loose and a piss poor job at that. This is about a HC that simply shouldn’t be, period. No time like the present to make a change. Record be damned.
Not everyone works Mon-Fri, 9-5. In fact, I’m the only one out of my main group of friends who does. One of my buddies has Mon/Tues off, the other Thurs/Fri. It’s not 1980 anymore.
I think it was his own undoing when he spoke well of Gase during his interview with him prior to getting the job. I think Sam isn’t that assertive and should have said I don’t want to play for a failed Dolphins coach.
How many people showed up for the rally today? Oh yeah. That's right. Working class was too busy, um, working? Ha.
I agree they need to hire the right person sooner rather then later but the notion they are on the hook for two yrs and being used by some people as an excuse for billionaires making millions not to replace him is laughable, when it will cost them more in the long run. In terms of revenue, growth and and fans
He doesnt even really deny playing not to lose. Thats the most deplorable part.Ownership sees no issue w having zero killer instinct & operating under a myriad of built in excuses. It was the same crap w Bowles, though Gase is more extreme. The whole org is shooting not to lose rather than aggressively pursuing winning by any means necessary * within the rules of course for any New england fans passing through..
Cause the owner thought he was coaching where football is going and the owner got a phone call recommendation from the great Peyton Manning. Why do you think we ended up with Gase?
Spot on. In retrospect, I need to retroactively compliment the many here who where pushing hard to bring in Matt LeFlour to the Jets. The guy is doing a fabulous job for the Packers, in fact, he is elevating Aaron’s game to an unbelievable level by virtue of his new schemes and much faster pass release situations. If the young coach can do that with an old pro QB already at the top of his game, imagine what he could have done to improve Sam. I have no clue why we passed on him except of course because he didn’t want to come to this shitty organization and stick with a winner. How we will attract a top prospect if Chris makes the call is beyond me.
You did notice the part I bolded and enlarged in your post and then I posted the laughter gif up, right? The enlarged bolding wasn't a random act, it was quite specific to the intended jest.
A problem I have with Gase right now, is him saying he is resting players until they are 100% healthy so they can play for the rest of the season. It is terrible logic. I get not wanting to make an injury worse, but you also have to think about not digging yourself too big of a hole. If you get your entire roster healthy and you are (0-6), what is the point? Stuff like that drives me nuts.
He knows this isn't a playoff team. He's trying to salvage his job with a 5-11 record which would be a miracle with this roster and schedule. What I don't understand is why hes only dressing 4 WRs yet won't run any 2 TE sets with Herndon and Griffin who we resigned for what exactly? Also give Perine some fucking reps instead of feeding Gore over and over again. This team stinks!
