I’d go with the billboard. They need to see it every day.

One of Chris Johnson’s awful quotes paired with all of the Jets league rankings since Gase arrived.

I’m pretty sure the person that started this already said they started it as a joke so I wouldn’t really expect too much of a turnout. Would be pretty great though to have it become a thing and then one of the reporters asks him a question about it. It would be a full-blown meltdown.

    this would be awesome!

his quote about Gase being a “brilliant” offensive mind and then show our rankings of dead last in so many categories.

That's cool. I hope 60 bored Jets fans get the job done, but I'm afraid this is just a waste of time.

At this point, whether you want Trevor or not, you should be rooting for Jets to finish with the worst record in the league. Best way that happens is if Gase stays the rest of the year. Interim coach just rallies the troops for a win vs. a cupcake later in the year. We don't need that.

I'm not going for an 0-16 record. That would be demoralizing to anyone left on the roster.

What makes anyone so certain that the Clueless Bros. would get rid of Gase even at 0-16? Furthermore, why would Lawrence want to come to the Jets if they're 0-16?

But again there is language in the contract for offsets so if the coach gets another job that salary can be deducted or there is buy out clause. So we honestly don't know how much it would costs the Jets to fire him he may 2 yrs on the contract but if fired he may only get a severance to a partial payment. granted to regular people it is a ton of money but I doubt it is the full value of the contract.

Really fellow Jets fans? Really? I mean c'mon now. I'm looking forward to the next coach too, but Gase isn't keeping us from the Super Bowl this year. I think it makes us look bad. There's plenty of other things to protest about.

Yep/ But again, the bottom line is, if they're pinching pennies rather than doing what it takes to win, that may just be the final straw for me.

The Johnsons think “Gase has a brilliant offensive mind”???

    On what planet??

It’s now become pretty obvious what the problem is here

Woody, Chris and crew have a high susceptibility to cult-like thinking

The Johnsons have now fallen for 2 different cons leading 2 different cults

    2 “brilliant geniuses” lol

    Very sad!

He’ll be an NFL draftee, doesn’t really have a choice. Just like every other year the team with the first pick is the worst team in the league. I feel like every year we also hear that so and so doesn’t want to play for the team with the first pick yet only 2 times in my lifetime has the number one pick forced his way out of the team with the 1st pick with the last time being 20 years ago.

Yes, really. What's the problem. Gase sucks. He isn't keeping us from the SB, but he isn't helping either. The talent level is better than the way they're performing on the field. They're a total embarrassment. We already look horrible. If you haven't noticed, it's because you aren't paying attention. The national and local media are trashing the Jets. Jets fans are trashing the Jets. Everyone's discouraged, depressed, frustrated, angry and want Gase gone. Wake up!

I get that completely how could a company (this case teh NY Jets) that makes money be concerned over what would be 4 million when they stand to lose hundreds of millions in ad revenue alone if people tune out imagine if the people were allowed to go to games and stopped going that would hurt them even more.
This is on the owners to fire this guy before the loyal life long fans tune out.

It's true but you're virtually always working with a coach that has 2 years left on his contract so that no lame duck coach scenarios exist. So the Johnson's need to just eat the money and be done with it.

Maybe instead of hiring retreads and first time head coaches, they should go out and grab a big time name or a really sought after candidate.

Yeah and while Lawrence does have a little bit more leverage because he has a year of eligibility, he's pretty much made it known that he's coming out. How many top picks end up going to a great situation?

Lawrence doesn't strike me as a I'm not going to this team or that team kind of guy.

Like I said, if they're going to more concerned with saving a few bucks over doing what it takes to win, then I'm done with them until they sell the team. Fuck them!
