Well same convo last yr when we were 1-7 and just lost to winless team. Now we are here right before game 3,talking same crap about #1 pick... of hoping for #1 pick, might not come to fruition and no progress, gase still coach, and draft pick around 5-10.. that’s probably the scenario more than # 1 pick. Imagine we fired him last yr at 1-7, maybe we would have had top 5 pick, and light years of where we are now... with new coach and a plan! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
But last year was meant to be a piss easy schedule and let's face it we won 7 games, blew the opener and lost to 2 winless teams so in all reality, we could have been 10-6 lol 10 fucking 6 and in the playoffs with that squad, can you only imagine the contract extension those clowns would have presented Gase with after that. Thank god for The Phins and Bengals.
This team is MUCH worse than last years team though. The only upgrade is the Oline and other positions have gotten worse. This team is definitely a contender for the #1 pick and they also have the leagues hardest schedule.

With another defeat now in the books for reference, those comments beg the question: Is Johnson the only one who can’t see how incapable Gase is as a coach? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yeah I could see us worse, esp with injuries... last year Darnold our 1st 4 games, and had literally no chance to win those games with putrid 3rd string QB. Once healthy we could be equal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just forgot. Lol. I wanted to take exert from article, is there way to update w/o replying myself? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
If it has been a little while since you posted the original and then you edit it some times it is best to write EDIT and then write the update underneath, just so folk know you have updated it etc
Aside from CJ’s ego, there is no reason to continue with Gase at this point. None. The young season is on a spiral and Gase has shown he is not the guy for Sam nor for this team. We must stop the bleeding now. Worst possible case he wins a few meaningless games while Sam ‘s confidence is crushed for good, and he retains the job for one more miserable year. Best case, well there isn’t one, really, except subjecting the organization to such a dismal record Chris is forced to fire Gase, and in so doing embarrassing the fans, the players, the city, and the entire organization continues as the laughing stock of the NFL. More and more comments are leaking indicating his lack of rapport with the players, controlling and inflexible tendencies, and poor practices which are soft and more of a mental walk thru than practice. This to me smells like lack of effective leadership. Admitting failure and making the change quickly is the first step towards recovery.

I am firing off a four page letter to JC and JD,,,here are the last two lines { So, congratulations to both of you for building a culture, albeit a “losing” one, but at least you accomplished that., i.e., latest power rankling 32nd. https://jetswire.usatoday.com/2020/09/23/usa-today-nfl-power-rankings-new-york-jets-week-2/ If did not know better, and I am sure I do based on the foregoing, I would swear that you both really do not give a rat’s ass about winning especially considering the product you call a team that week in and week out, is an embarrassment.
I feel bad that JD got trapped in this awful organization, but so be it. I think the blame falls squarely on the ownership for the selection of a totally inept coach.
You know it occurs to me that CJ is afraid to fire Gase because he's intimidated by him. He's nothing more than a fan boy who's only interested in being ab,e to rub elbows with the players and coaches and is too afraid of passing them off.
I think the Johnsons just enjoy prolonging the Fans agony ..tbh They have the power to hire and fire ..and just make their move (fuck you Press and fuck you Fans)..it's the height of arrogance Like extending Mac and Todd Bowles they pride themselves in ignoring the evidence of failure and go on to the next bad decision It happens year after year like a Groundhog Day Movie
One of the biggest issues, I suspect, is that Gase still has 2 years 14 games left on his contract. Above all else the Johnsons are cheap SoBs who will not want to pay 2 HCs for 2.8 years. How Gase got a 4 year deal I have no clue. His agent should be proud of that theft of Johnson money.
