On offense not much that the opposing team needs to worry about, vanilla plan, and lack of talent = Lots of 3 and outs. Watch other games you will not see as many 3 and outs you see from jets by wide margin. Needs to get fixed, or going to be long season, and defense won’t matter!

But they also have receivers who can get open, who find big holes in the coverage and who make catches on balls that are not perfectly thrown regularly. I suspect these things are not unrelated.

This is the thing thats surprising me the most on the board right now. Yes, Douglas made choices that will impact the team negatively in the short term, but the team was trash to begin with, so all he really did was light the trash on fire.

He’s burning it down, people, and its going to take a little while to rebuild.

Yeah, people talk about the Crowder TD for obvious reasons, but the Bell catch was the best offensive play of the day, in my opinion. Similar to Sam, I just expected more from Bell. Can't help injury though.

Bell was the best receiver on our team yesterday until he went down.

Not calling him a stud by any means, but Langi seemed to be flying around and making some plays. At least we may have a little depth with him.

Mosley, Williamson, and Jenkins would've been nice.

the injury play should have been a TD too. had the guy not grabbed him resulting in the injury that was an easy TD. the 2 bell wheel routes were the best and rally only good calls by gase all day. Buffalo's LBers couldn't cover bell at all. IDK why we never use that mismatch

    Agree but in reality,
called their names in the game thread. They made plays when they needed to. That's all you can ask.

I get banned for months because of "long blocks of texts" but this Bills fan can post large blocks of text after a Jets loss? What a fkn joke I'm done. PS you should put a max character blockage on this site since long posts aren't allowed in order to prevent long blocks of text. How the fk do I know what's considered long? B's for him to be allowed to post that long

Also a really bad sign when your RB is your best WR.

bills best RB was a QB
Jets best WR was a RB
Big Ben outrushed Barkley on monday night

    what a crazy week

on the normal side, the browns are still awful and baker sucks
The bengals and lions both lost in typical bad team ways

C.J Mosley was the biggest dud.

Does CJ Mosley's life matter more than all the other NFL superstar players who are still playing the game currently?

Fk CJ Mosley you little sissy boy coward you.

My Studs - Becton, even though he gave up a sack, looked the part. No one else really stood out or surprised me on Offense as the rest are vets.

Maye put up some numbers! Watch him want Jamal Adams money lol. Austin stepped up and .. everyone who is regarded as a jag came to play and surprised me on D.

    My Duds - Everyone else.

After I watched this game, it made me think that this team is 1000% percent going to be overhauled and that there will be no exception to the rule, including Darnold. How would I love for JD and squad to head a HC search and signing. Just one game brought to mind a "suck for Sam" mentality. Adding the draft capital we already have, and free agency money available. I ...

Fuck it .. Revamp and Relaunch .. Let's go all in on this rebuild.

I'd like to see a breakdown of Darnold's qbr and stats per game against that pressure rate. It sounds obvious, but few QBs could succeed when constantly being pressured at the highest rate in the league, and even fewer when working with a bottom tier receiving corps as well.
