    Cashman went out early so between those 2 moves, this D has been horrid.

    It's unbelievable. Especially Game 1 of the season against a turd of a team that hasn't shown any ability to move the ball and a defense you can throw all day against.

    I’m not ready to give up on him yet, due to the coaching. But if there is any hope, it’s a shame to see him wasted with this staff and lack of weapons

    Darnold continues to look terrible, but a good HC/OC (Gase is basically both) puts his quarterback in a position to succeed by playing to his strengths. Give him some easy reads, outside the pocket, etc. It seems that Gase does not do any of that. At this point, I am sure that Gase should be fired, but can Darnold be salvaged? He seems broken. One thing that bothers me is that he seemingly refuses to run, even when he has open field, instead forcing the ball into traffic.
