I don't know (I'm assuming you looked up their W-L record). But yes, it's certainly meaningful to look at the comparisons of this year's opponents. The Chicago game is one that was within our reach, I felt. Sitting in the stands it was almost a boring game in which somebody needed to break it open, but we were with them pretty much all first half. By far the most meaningful game or "stat" for me is the way the Dolphins manhandled NE, specifically Jason Taylor romping and stomping all over Brady's parade. This is why I'm cautioning Junc and others that we should basically wipe our @sses with this 5-1 "trend" nonsense. Take a look at the NE game (and I'm sure Mangini and perhaps the entire team has by now... and if not... they should be) and you'll sober up real quick.
Okay, well now that's good. The Bills have been such a hard team to figure after the Bye though. It's almost like there's another team out there than there was in Week One. Thank God they're out of PO contention because I wouldn't like another matchup with them this year.
They go too far back? he was the QB when we beat them earlier in the year- that's too far back? and he also beat them w/ a bad shoulder last year and he did it through the air. What games can we look at and count? basically what you are saying is even last week's game means nothing. We can't take anything out of any game?

I'll hang up the "same old Jets" label if we beat the Dolphins and Raiders... That's why this game against the Fins is so important. We really don't know yet if we are any better than the Herm Jets, or the Groh Jets, or the Carroll Jets ... the way I see it, Mangini has 2 strikes on him. Strike 1, the Browns loss. Strike 2, the crushing Bills loss. You know what they say, 3 strikes and yer out. So, the monday night game against the Dolphins is HUGE for us !!!

You don't seem to have moved towards the center, not one bit. So I doubt I will. Then miracles can happen, and it is Christmastime. So maybe you'll wake up one morning and give the Jets a chance.
