Second time I've heard that. Do you have any statistics on it? ESPN nor PFR have splits for this claim.

Can't really wait. Win or lose this is what I hope to see this week.

    - OL protecting Sam.
    - Sam playing great to show us hope for future.
    - Bell looking solid.

Bills are a good team with good coaching staff. Bills Defense is legit. Seeing above 3 points against a very good Bills D is what I want to see.

Also, regarding QB discussion earlier. Allen wouldn't be my choice of QB and I don't think he is anything special. But he is servicable. He never will be a Top 5 QB in the league.

Sam on the other hand have the tools to be a Top 5 QB one day. Will he put everything together at some point? Who knows. But I would take him ahead of Allen all day every day twice on Sundays.

    Go Jets!

Yeah, but nothing in that game gave me reason to think they should be considered superior to the rest of the AFC East. Especially how Allen played.

To be fair, the math was closer to 25% on throws 10-19 yards.

Was able to take a look at his 2019 throws when the NFL was offering free access to its archives this summer. The narrative checked out, to my mind. Was above league average 1-9 and very good from 10-19, but pretty much league-worst -- with a bullet -- on 20+ yard throws. And he threw deep ALOT (was close to 6 a game if I recall correctly), which was a bad combo. And most of those deep throw misfires were all on him; if John Brown couldn't get a finger on them, no receiver in the NFL is going to come in here and make a difference. It's all on him but I think he can -but might not- do it. He did moved his short and intermediate game from well-below to slightly above league average from 2018 to 2019, which was a positive indicator.

Buffalo has some small linebackers. That Milano kid, my wife could push him around and Jerry Hughes is a finesse pass rusher on the edge.

I know this offensive line is all new but damn - if they could get it together and play well this could be a good game to run the ball with Lev Bell. On a similar note, Josh Norman their no. 2 corner ain't gonna play and that position was a weakness for them last year. Run the ball, let Tre' White chase around Perriman all day while you throw it up to Hogan or Crowder on 3rd down.

How is it 25%? 60 throws (11-19 yards) out of 461 attempts?

Levi Wallace is the co number 2 corner, Siran Neal also plays corner and Taron Johnson is an excellent slot corner. What about the Jets injuries, who will be out for your team.

Fair - I didn't see the date. It's fair to say that his completion percentage in that range also could've gone down afterwards though.

Either way, it's a bit of cherry picking. Allen is a good quarterback. He's not a good passer though. If he doesn't improve his deep ball he'll turn into 2018 Cam Newton. Teams clamp down and force you to throw it over their heads.

    Mims officially out.

So out of 9 rookies, only 3 will even be active week 1. Not great Bob.

Not from me. Josh Allen is going to split us open like a frat house whore. He runs for over 100 and throws 4 tds including 2 to diggs.

The bills defense sacks darnold 9 times as we wonder i how the Offensive line could possibly get any worse.

Allen takes a photo after the game smiling triumphantly next to a beaten and dejected Darnold. The picture is shared across social media and is front page on ESPN for weeks and perhaps months

The Jets actually have many talented players, but as we all know that does not guarantee success.

With a revamped offensive line and not much of a preseason for the OL and a very good Bills defense; I can not see the Jets offense doing much.

For the Jets to have a fighting chance, the defense will have to play like gangbusters.

I see a very low scoring game that might be decided by turnovers.

We're getting 6.5 boys. But it up to 7.5 if you need to. One day to go!
