    I can't believe that JD didn't put in a claim for Hakeem Butler. He is going down a notch in my estimation.

    Anyone claimed by CLE, JAC, ARI, MIA, WAS, CIN, NYG, DET, CAR, or LAC wouldn’t get to the Jets even if the Jets put in a claim for them, they are 11th in priority

    Well apart from pissing him off by releasing him, now he is thinking hmm they don't really fancy me at all and is he gonna give 100% effort moving forward?

    Another bit of short-sightedness imo, why cut him to bring him back 24 hours later, it seems stupid to me.

    I get it. But we don't know what was going on behind closed doors. JD may have had his sites on another player (Butler?) but couldn't get them so he brought Hairy back? If this pisses him off to where he won't give 100%, then he won't be around long is my guess. JD may have told him to sit tight, he's coming back. Lots of games go on.

    Bills only kept 4 DBs on their 53 man. I though for sure they'd take a swipe at Hairston. Guess not.....

    According to Cimini, the Jets did put in waiver claims, just didn't get any of the players they claimed. I haven't seen that Butler has been signed by anyone however.
