Well history says they are better more PO performances, more AFC divisional & championships & more SBs wins which if what if I was a Dolphin fan I would be talking about. Lets see up to now we have NO AFC championships, 2 divisional championships & 1 SB win when we were in the AFL not the NFL. It would seem just looking at stats they have been the superior team then us thruout the years which I am sure is there claim to fame You will see all those winning flags flying when U get to the stadium on Monday nite. Next time you goto the M/lands see how many flags we have flying
It's been a long time since the Dolphins were as good as the Jets from year to year. A decade or so. You'd think it'd be sinking in on them right about now that the glory days are in the past and they're struggling to avoid being a bad team right now.

Hope U R correct but we will see about 3 hours or so from 830PM on Monday. The NYJ history beyond the 68 season is terrible when it comes to must win games in case you are unaware including Bflo/Jax this year
Cant really be surprised about that. Hey, most teams and media are just now catching on to the Jets and their performances. Lets face it, except for the offensive line, for the most part, they think they are playing the same roster they have seen in previous years. What is catching most teams off guard is something you cant gameplan for...a really good coaching staff that shows you nothing..you have no idea what the gameplan will be because you do not have a blabbering moron telliing you "that the Jets win games by running the ball" before the game. Players will always be shocked when they lose games they, THEY, think they should win..because players evaluate talent..not coaching staffs. Mangini is winning games that the past HC couldnt. Players will never understand that. Herm defenders will tell you "yeah but we made the playoffs 15 out of 20 years". If they cant see the difference in preperation, gameday management..what can you do. Didnt intend to make this a Herm thing but it always shocks me that SOME players will never understand its the system that wins..Holliday states that they have better talent..well maybe they do...maybe they dont. As Jet fans, if we have learned or needed to be reminded of anything this year, its that its the system. Next years Jet team will probably have more talent than this one...but this team is winning without a probowl every down player...a qb that cant break 30mph on the radar gun...no number 1 back..a defense that man for man is almost the same as last year..minus the only pass rusher the team has had over the last 10 years. The team that shares our building will one day understand that...with all their talent they still love to point fingers everywhere but in the mirror.
I was listening to the 790 this morning on my way to work...these guys HATE us...they hate the fact that we have a shot...there are people caling up sayin, as long as we beat the jets, that will make this season a sucess...AND THE HOST AGREED...talk about pathetic.
yea we've had terrible luck....but i have faith in the coaching staff.....the team looks alot better than earlier in the season when we blew that 20-3 lead.....i'm just sick of the phins.....maybe cuz i live down here but they are always over hyped and do nothing.....
Well I to was listening Joe Rose really dislikes us. Once when he was a emcee on WQAM he suggested that the blow hole fans go to the NYJ hotel around 2AM & ring the fire alarm to wake them up. Look just like we dislike them they have a right to dislike us. I know that they get POed cause the stadium will turn up 1/3 or so green cause so many tix are out there on the open market. When I lived in SE Florida I went to the game every year & was never hassled by the other side so maybe some are radio tough but when you see them in person they are just regular folks

Yes I had the feeling living in SE Florida cause all U here is Dolphin talk but I came to terms with it by saying hey I am in there territory so what should I expect NYJ talk? I felt the worst NYJ radio show host hater was Hamk Goldberg followed by Joe Rose. I felt Mandrich was more neutral. If I got up real early I would listen to Orlando who would talk about the NYJs without having any knowledge of them. It is NOT luck it is playing better then the other side & up to now in the big ones we stank up the field game after game
If you talk about our losses in big games to BUF and JAX, then you also have to acknowledge the wins over NE, GB, and MIN. I know we lose a big game in December every year to a crappy team. But come on, most teams lose at least one game in December. Let's see what happens.
A couple things here. Yesterday you BLASTED NYJUNC for bringing up Pennington's past history vs. the Dolphins. And now you want to bring up the Dolphins win percentage and SB victories. What the hell does that have to do with this Jets team? This is the 2006 Jets vs the 2006 Dolphins. We clearly have the better coached team. If you want to relive history, how about the FACT that the NYJ are 42-39 all time vs. the Phins. And the Phins have not seen the playoffs in 5 years.

Yes I said stats do not matter but when fans are talking to other fans & you side has had a better history if I was rooting for that side I would bring it up. Stats are BS history is FACT always remember that & our history is the pits since our inception except for SB3
