Let's use this thread to keep track of all the roster cuts/moves and to make your final roster prediction.

Most of the media I'm seeing are projecting that the Jets will keep 4 QBs for the first few weeks of the season. This is due to the fact that Flacco won't be available at least until Sept. 10. They can't put him on IR because he was injured before the season. They won't leave him on PUP because he wouldn't be eligible to play until week 7. Thus Darnold, Flacco and Morgan are locks. The media are projecting that they'll keep Fales because he has experience in Gase's system and with Gase, but lack of experience didn't seem to hinder White in TC. Based on TC reports White outplayed Fales in TC by a pretty wide margin. I sure wouldn't keep Fales over White based on their play. I don't think they can afford to keep 5 QBs, especially when one of them hasn't had a very good TC. As it is, they're going to have to cut some players that they would like to keep in order to keep 4 QBs. I think they'll have an easier time slipping White onto the PS once the season has begun, than they would now.

    Offense - 25
QB - Darnold, Flacco, White, Morgan
WR - Crowder, Mims, Perriman, Hogan, Berrios, V. Smith, Malone*
    TE - Herndon, Griffin, Wesco
    RB - Bell, Gore, Perine
OL - Becton, Lewis, McGovern, Van Roten, Fant, Edoga, Harrison, Clark

    Defense - 25
DL - Q. Williams, McLendon, H. Anderson, Fatukasi, Shepherd, Phillips
Edge - Jenkins, Basham, Zuniga, Luvu
ILB - Williamson, Cashman, Hewitt, Burgess, Onwuasor
CB - Desir, Poole, Austin, Maulet, Wilson, Hall
S - Maye, McDougald, Davis, Jackson

    STs - 3
    P - Mann
    K - Ficken
    LS - Hennessy

    PS - 16
    Cager
    Campbell
    Guidry
    Jackson
    Gilbers
    McDermott
    Huff
    Carter
    J. Smith
    Franklin-Myers?
    Josh Adams?
    Langi?
    Kaufusi
    + 3 from other teams

    * I'm not sure they're right, but according to Ourlads, Perriman, Mims and Cager are all at LWR, and Hogan, Malone, and Chesson are at RWR. If accurate, unless Perriman or Mims could switch to RWR, surely they'd keep Malone over Cager.

Do you think we will keep all 4 QB's?

Only until Flacco is ready to play. Hopefully, we'll then be able to put White on our PS.

Between Morgan and White, one of them should surely develop into a quality backup. If both develop, it's gravy, and we can trade one to another team for a draft pick or player.

Initially yes, until Flacco is ready to take over. I doubt they feel comfortable with Morgan as the #2 until then so they keep White

I can’t even pretend to know what the heck we are going to do over the next 24 hours without having seen half of these guys ever play in an NFL game. The receiver situation is going to be tricky. I can’t see them carrying more than six but that means they are going to have to risk someone clearing waivers and ending up back on the practice squad or resigned after moving people to IR. Cager, Malone, the dude with the crazy name... it’s gonna be a tough call. And then what do you do with Jeff Smith? I’m not jealous of Joe Douglas here at all.

I think we carry three quarterbacks and put the Flacco on IR. Darnold, White and Morgan. Once Flacco is ready, White gets cut and hopefully ends up back on the practice squad because it sounds like he had a pretty decent summer.

Yes, White seems to have done himself no harm in the training camp.

Regardless of the Flacco situation it's unheard of in the NFL to keep four quarterbacks. Flacco hasn't taken a snap with any offense this off-season, has he? Why would he not start out on the PUP list? He will need to work himself back into football shape anyway. It's not just like *poof* I'm healthy I know the offense and will play week 3 if Sam gets hurt.

And to be honest - I'd rather see Morgan anyway.

Not a shock. He wasn’t that good, but we also had no LBs last year.

Can’t believe we are going into a new season with Fuckin’ Ficken.

Flacco should be PUP’d. He’s not done anything with the offense yet.

That is a little misleading by Schefter. Yes, he was a starter, but that is because all of the linebackers in front of him got injured. Literally.

Schefter has been pretty bad lately in his reporting. He used to be a solid source that I read all the time. He's fallen far from that tree nowadays, IMO

Wow I'm pretty surprised by this. He was a good backup at C and OG and by all accounts a great teamate.

Not really, we were just spoiled by the fact that he could actually snap the ball after the Long and Kalil debacle.

Ever since Mangold retired, the Jets have had absolute scrubs playing the position, luckily that will change with McGovern.

His tweets are over exaggerated to the extreme and he's not always the first to break news like he used to be.

Wow Harrison is a shock. Who is the backup C with him out? He wasn’t great but he wasn’t awful. I thought Douglas liked guys that could play across the interior so something isn’t adding up here.
