Dude - he’s not all off sudden going to “click” with this garbage dumpster “room”. He stinks and coming to a worse situation.

 

Dude - they have had 2 1000 yard receivers since 2007. And that was the same year in 2015 with decker and marshal. They stink and so does Bell - why does everyone keep bringing him up as if he is a game changing player - he’s not.

 

Do you honestly think he’s going to fix it on the jets ? Has a player ever came here and improved, ever.

 

Bingo.Its been just as much of a disaster as Edge has been.Its absolutely inexcusable. Jets have successfuly rebuilt the OL going on 3 times since they properly addressed WR & edge

 

Other then drafted DTs every year and then trading them away - they can’t get anyone right.

 

I remember that 2015 game. The Colts had receivers running free all night against the Jets. Todd Bowles and his dumb defensive coordinator made zero adjustments.

 

It was really awful how they drafted all these years.

Oh wow so Kalen Ballage didn’t prevent the Jets from addressing the WR position.

Who would’ve thunk that was possible??

Maybe dims will recover and be worthy of the draft hype he earned. I still have hope for him. Other than that I think you're right on the spot.

I thought Dims sounded cool, i made it up myself haha. It's a combo of denzel and mims, in case that wasn't clear lol. I wasn't trying to say he's dim. I liked the pick a lot i hope he becomes our number one receiver

 

I sure hope Douglas knows what hes doing with these signings...perhaps a better bargain basement shopper than Mac?

Will Moncrief and Hogan rescue us? Herndon?

 

Draft DTs & rebuild the OL every 5 yrs. It all starts upfront or so ive been told. Cant draft skill on either side of the ball.

 

If this new regime does what the previous ones did, then we're in a world of trouble. Too early to judge now. Next offseason will reveal a lot. We'll have an idea on how much they value skill position players. I know it's frustrating to pass on 2 great WR prospects in round 1, but when the OL has been neglected for years, going with an OT is justified. If no WR is taken by day 2 next year, that's when I'll start to have doubts about this FO.

 

Which means Ficken won the kicking battle. Yikes.

 

I am disappointed that Mims is injured already. I thought during draft the jets were targeting van Jefferson when they made the trade down, but rams took him (instead of mims). Maybe that was the issue why he fell in the draft? Well, hopefully he is back on field soon! We need him to have productive rookie season. In side note: Anybody else see trend, we have excessive amount of injuries under Gase!!
