ONE JETS DRIVE: EPISODE I As players and coaches return to One Jets Drive after an unprecedented offseason, the series kicks off with an inside look at the blockbuster trade with the Seahawks and takes you inside the home of 2019 team captain, Steve McClendon, as he prepares for his 11th season.
Love this series. As a fan it’s great access and as someone who does documentary production for a living it’s easy on the eyes.
Very cool episode! It was very clear that Adams really rubbed Douglas the wrong way with his "me me me" attitude. He took quite a few jabs at him stating that this team will be built around the people and the locker room. Checking egos at the door, etc. I'll tell you one thing, there seems to be a very different vibe with this franchise right now. And that was really cool seeing that other side of McLendon. Super cool dude
Just seeing the difference between McClendons attitude and Adams’ is nice to see. Feel like this team is getting back to building character and building the lines like we did in ‘06.
Thanks For the link Brooks. Unfortunately for me the video piece of the Jets web siteNever seems to work right. Most of the time it just spins and spins and nothing comes up. BTW, I listened to the latest JD interview with the press. He was perfect. Questions from Metha were pure BS, trying to trap our GM inferring that by trading Adams we are sending the signal that we are not serious about winning in 2020. JD stopped short of the bait that he was a major headache and not a leader for this team, but our players are beginning to send the smoke signals to that effect.
I've really liked the production values of it, but i don't think Illwatch it until we start winning some games.
Are the Jets gong to scrimmage some of the close by clubs.? No exhibitions but it didn't say they couldn't work against other teams?
Jets still think I am a Season Ticket Holder. They sent me the link to watch it 1 hour before the debut. Good episode. Watch it. It starts with Carson Palmer and is Darnold related episode.
Jessie Palmer. I’m glad he’s hyped on Sam but thought it was a little lame he did the whole interview with a Bills Jersey in the back. Pretty sure it was Josh Allen’s who is also one of his clients.
Was cool to see some of Darnold’s USC days. I didn’t really follow college ball back then, especially PAC12
Not sure that focusing on the glorious history of USC quarterbacks was the way to go in hyping Darnold: Matt Leinart, John David Booty, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley, and Cody Kessler (the starters after Carson Palmer) were collectively 53-63 in the NFL, with a cumulative passer rating a very uninspiring 73.0. Darnold's 11-15 record thus far fits right in with them, and that's not a good thing, but at least his passer rating is a somewhat less uninspiring 81.1.
