Excellent! One of the best Jets transactions that I can remember!

Extend Marcus Maye now and show the rest of the locker room good solid play + not being a jerk off gets rewarded.

With all the shit Jamal was stirring up, that's an incredible deal by Joe (doesn't know what he's doing according to Mehta) Douglas.
Oh, and YAY Le'Veon for kicking him in the ass on the way out the door.

Decent value considering the circumstances. Good luck Jamal. seatlle is far from Dallas.

    A decent return for sure.
We need to hit with those first rounders though.

Joe Douglas continues to amaze. The silent assassin. This 100% exceeded all my expectations on compensation.

Now we have have the ammo necessary to reload talent or move up if the opportunity presents itself. It sucks to lose an all-pro but JD took the sting out of it.

It's great value on paper, but it kinda reminds me of the Keyshawn trade where you can't argue with the trade but the malcontent player got what he wanted in the end too.

It was never about punishing Adams. That doesn't help our franchise at all.
I could care less about what happens to Jamal now.

Yes. He’s a starting safety. 70 tackles last year. More INTs than Jamal over these last two seasons.

There's really no way he could have stayed after the stuff he unloaded - at least we got good value for him.

4 year starter. More of a Free Safety but he can immediately come in and play.

Great deal for the Jets. Adams was going to poison the locker room. They got more than he was worth. He's really good, but that's an Ed Reed, Ronny Lot haul, and he's not at that level.

Also, got a more than serviceable safety for this year.

Yes. Supposedly he can play both safety positions and is better in the box, but he is very well known for his intelligence on the field.

I'll be curious to learn if Adams knew something was up when he spoke with The Daily News yesterday.
