A #1 + WR Gallup & dallas can have Adams. This is very doable because dallas has WR's up the gazoo. Cooper, Williams, Lamb, Gallup.

I agree. Sit down with him and his representation. Try to work things out. If they are 100% not budging, then Douglas has no choice but to let them seek a trade. He doesn't have to accept any offer that is not good enough though.

  6. Jets should just sit back & let this idiot fall on his sword. F him & his whole act.Hes a selfish me first fraud

    Where there's a will there's a way. They'll make room for him.

Jerry Jones knew what he was going to be up against with the contracts and he still wanted Adams before.

That said I highly doubt he"ll be the only one interested in trading for Adams he's a GREAT player and what 24 years old?

I hope the Jets don't trade him but at this point I can't say I'm very optimistic. This GM already lost Robby in FA trdading away Adams seems like his inevitable next screw up.

I don't understand this team they have no problem paying the likes of Trumaine Johnson or Leo Williams but with Adams their best player they play hardball. Why can't they give him a nice one year raise if they're not willing to do a long term deal now? Shut him up keep him happy. He's your best player he"s dobe everything asked of him, he's been everything we could have hoped for and then some as the #6 overall player in his draft.

    Such a lost organization.

we hold ALL the cards. Jamal has zero leverage. if he holds out, then let him waist his football career sitting home eating popcorn watching games on the TV. Players like to use the term "it's a business" when it is in there favor. Well Jamal....IT'S A BUSINESS, & we hold all the cards & it is in the Jets best interest to hold off on your payday till next year. If Jamal thinks he is going to bully his way out of NY for peanuts, well he's wrong. He'll be a Jet for at least the next 3 years or until a team gives us the trade value WE want. Until then Jamal cry all you want, it's not going to do a bit of good.

Joe D wasn’t born yesterday. It’s good to have competent FO running things now. I trust this will work out in the Jets favor.

I agree with what you said about Dallas...they will make room if they really want him. If we give him a 1 year contract then he will be a free agent next year & we lose all our leverage.

JD isn't gonna panic. One benefit to signing a fully guaranteed 6 year contract. JD can afford to let this play out.

If JD listens to offers, he'd probably want more draft capital from a team likely to be drafting in the bottom of each round. Maybe a bit less from a shit team likely to be drafting at or near the top?

but if JD does trade him, I hope he follows the Giants blueprint and ships Adams off to the worst team in the league.

He's already under contract just give him a nice pay raise in 2020. Shut him up make him happy.

But the Jets have done nothing to stop the rumors since last year. Oh we want him on our team but no money put up. Talk is cheap.

    Where there's smoke there's fire. :(

I can’t think of a worst profession to be in than one where you have to deal with entitled children.

want a trade? Great, we will explore it. But to think you have the leverage to not only demand a trade but dictate where they trade you?

Why on God’s green earth would the Jets feel any obligation to send him where he wants to go if he is demanding they trade him? You’ll go where we damn well get the best deal.

He's a piece of shit and is making himself look horrible.

Reports are stating that he is willing to be traded to another team and not seek a contract extension immediately. So basically, he is willing to play for the Jets if they pay him, but if not, he is willing to wait on another roster without being extended.

This is not going to play well in the locker room. What a fuckin idiot
