Coles will always be underrated because there is no statistic for toughness and guts. Coles has no fear, fights for every ball (unlike plax) and is outstanding after making the catch. Seems to me like he rarely drops a ball too. I'm glad we traded Moss for this guy, and when people doubted him last year I continued to support LC. Glad he's here.
should this come as a surprise to anyone? Look, Game-breaker doesn't really mean better. We all know Coles is much more consistent and has game breaking ability but I see Burress on ESPN every other week b/c of some prayer ELI threw up to him. Pennington rarely throws up prayers (or accurate deep passes) so you just won't see Coles making as many highlight reel plays as Burress. Burress is still one trick pony...he's at his best when he's playing jumpball with shorter corner. Anything else and Coles outshines him clearly.
Anyone else think Coles gets away with pushing off an awful lot? I can think of at least two TDs that he might've got called on, last week and vs. Houston.
I don't even know what we are talking about....Coles' stats prove that he is better than burress and Moss can't even be compared to Cotchery these days. HELLOOOOO!??
Mad Dog's comments on Coles have achieved their purpose. We have a 5 page thread here and indignant Jets fans will call his show non-stop. That's why he's great at what he does. -X-
