Love Morgan as a backup for Darnold, would have been happy with him in the 5th or 6th but not in the 4th.

Just think there were other potential need/value combinations on the board in Edge, CB, WR, OL that would have been better value.

You want to roll with Fales if Sam gets hurt? I think he proved last year he can't manage a milk carton and certainly not a game.

JD seriously thought Morgan would not be available in the 5th or 6th?

Makes zero sense to draft a qb.

Guys... We are in the fourth round. Taking a QB in any draft is never a bad thing. If Darnold doesn't work out or gets hurt for whatever reason, It's good to have options. It's good to have potential trade bait If we don't need him.

Lot of good from going with a QB with some actual potential.

A lot of these guys that are rated higher doesn't mean anything If they don't fit what the Jets are trying to do. Stop getting so caught up in the media hype.

It's the fourth round not the middle of the second. This is where you take a developmental backup QB or else you end up start Luke Fall for three weeks.

the Steelers taking Claypool bothers me they usually hit on WRs.

And the rookie from Florida International gives them a better chance?

I want to address the major holes we have on this team first like WR, CB, and maybe another OL. QB is not a major need at this time and if it is then we have a much bigger problem than drafting a 4th round no name.

Day 3 is just throwing darts.

It's fun watching armchair GMs freak out over every pick on day 3.

So you think Morgan is gonna be a competent back up who wins games in year one? C'mon man dude is spending the year on the practice squad.

Actually he's got a lot of talent, strong arm. He wants to be a lawyer that indicates good intelligence. Again, I preferred GOrdan from WSU, but I'm not unhappy with Morgan. Don't forget, we still don't know that Sam is the real deal - injuries, etc. I like Darnold but he hasn't sealed the deal yet.

So much for getting Sam some weapons.

One receiver and a back up RB.

    Awesome.
