I think it was one round too soon to take a quarterback but I'm glad Douglas was thinking that way. Teams have a much better chance of drafting and indoctrinating a QB in their system than they do winning games with journey man like Chase Daniels and friends if their starter gets hurt. I would've waited one more round but I'm glad we drafted one in the mid-rounds.
Maybe they really like a lot of them and think 1 will slip to the 5th? I don’t get it either man. Either that or they’re sold on Perrinan being a solid WR2.
Fromm doesn't have an NFL arm. He'll be lucky to bounce around the league as AJ McCarron, Jason White, etc. did. Big time program quarterbacks get overhyped sometimes. Don't buy his hype.
Don’t be down on the Morgan selection. i read a lot about him prior to the draft... he’s got a much better arm vs the other guys who were leff. A lot of upside...
The problem is the best case scenario is him never playing a down for us. We still have needs and we had a lot of guys available to use to address them.
