Forgive me if I am not too sympathetic about those here that don’t like the Davis pick, particularly since most all Of us really don’t know two shits about his actual capabilities, real motivation behind the pick, and starting with me, had never heard of him prior to now. First blush, he has the tools to jump in as a replacement for our FS, with CB potential, KR, freeing Protracted negotiations for Mays after we resign Adams. To me that is one clever pick. But yeh, you can call it a wasted pick, since we are so secondary rich lol, if you are nearsighted as hell. We could also trade Mays for a pick next year if he steps up into the dual . roll
It's really bad optics to draft another Florida defensive end with nearly the same draft profile as Polite but let's see.
