A motor is great, but one needs athletic ability and speed to pair with it. Unfortunately Willekes doesn't have either of those, I'll take a hard pass on Willekes.
good. He wears Bills gear every time I see him. I guess that’s the stuff he had left over because he coached there with Rex.
no worries my friend ... as a season'd vet I make sure to stay away from the board while we pick (didn't ruin it for me)
I never heard of the guy and don't follow college football but now that I read up on him a bit and watched the coverage, I see why they picked him. Smart, versatile, athletic. Good football player, good DB. We are thin back there.
This team stinks. What is it again four straight losing seasons? There's lots of room for improvement here if he can play they should be able to find a spot for him.
That's been the Jets MO as a franchise. How's that worked out? Jets always trying to hit a home run when you just need to get a hit sometimes
All the scouts have the same take, a raw safety with strong potential for conversion to CB since he needs to learn the details anyway. Very fast and insanely athletic. Consensus was day two pick so the value is not off according to the scouts.
I know, hence the winking emoticon. I posted that he was 6'1" as well. I was poking fun at another poster who claimed twice that he was only 5'11"
Davis can play any position in secondary, as well as in nickel/dime and will be an immediate contributor on special teams, really good value for his athleticism at that draft spot. There is room for him, Adams and Maye on the same defense, better than reaching at a pick for “need”.
I didn't realize people were Twatting. I'm not really sure what the past tense of To Twitter is so . . .
