Exactly. He's already maxed out his potential. Has no ceiling. It would have been a nice story since his dad is the WR coach, but that's it.
Never trade up. You're just betting that you are smarter than the collective NFL scouting pool and you're not. That's a straight value loss over time.
I'm happy so far. Douglas proved me wrong by going WR in round two. Three third round picks so still loitsa fun left tonight. He could add two non-wrs in round three and still add another WR. Just gotta hope these picks are hits/dawgs when the games start.
joe Douglas suprised me because i did not see him as a risk taker on upside guys but he is not scared to miss , he picks guys with the highest ceeling even with bust potential
My vote is that at least ONE of these upcoming 3 picks has to be a "swing for the fences" pick on whatever cornerback Douglas thinks is most appropriate. Get the best one possible.
He's so thrilled to be the HC that this is the second night in a row he wore a hat without a Jets logo on it. How the F do you even BUY a blank hat? I mean, do they even MAKE them? Was it special order? Is this like when they flash popcorn on the screen in the movie theatre for a nanosecond to subliminally suggest that I MUST BUY POPCORN? Because what I got from that hat is yay, I'm the Head Coach of a Vapid Nothing Universe, Look at MY NOTHING HAT. Now I feel compelled to compose a letter to someone I don't know without a pen as I stare without blinking at a blank piece of stationery.
I disagree it costs apple's to trade up atm. And 3 first round talents would be a big thing for this team.
Not so worried about our defense. I think the Jets may draft a Center with their next couple of picks, cut winters post draft and sign Logan Ryan. Cushenberry still there so is Biadasz
