    If somehow we can snag Tyler Johnson in Round 3 we'd be in decent shape at WR next year and good shape for several years after that with that pair.

    Let's use the other 2 picks on Pass rusher/CB/OL.

    Teammates, JD is the anti thesis of our prior GMs. He is a no shit top of the line guy. The third round will be a whole lot of BPA for us. Can I dare say he is miles ahead of our prior drafts already. And we haven’t entered round three.

    It spooked me on Mahomes. Finally one of the Tech QBs that threw for 90 TDs and 20 INTs didn’t end up being absolute trash.

    Pedigrees do exist and it does spook teams. A lot the times it pays off, other times you miss out on big time prospects. Aka Mahomes and Jackson with being a mobile QB.

    The extra pick obtained from Seahawks in trade down is now looking like gold. Jets finally have a GM who knows how to utilize the draft to the team's advantage. At least the last guy left us with a pretty good D.

    Did you hear one of the announcers say that, "With Jefferson being valued in the 3rd round it's not surprising that someone took him in the 2nd"? That shows that GMs do reach for players they like/want for their team. This is not in response to you, but just in general, as some have claimed that GMs don't reach.
