In fairness, the issue with 2014 was that we could have drafted Jarvis Landry, Allen Robinson, Davonte Adams, or John Brown in round 2. We chose Shaq Evans and Jalen Saunders two rounds later.
does it really matter ... who are we kidding !?! we can't pick a guy in the second if our lives depended on it lol
I swear to god Becton better go into the HOF as a fucking Jet because we are about to miss out on a legendary WR draft class. And don’t tell me “but we can still get Shenault!”
That's on Idzik and Mac though. Their second round strategy was always the same: Speedy, injury prone WR with hands of stone, or a QB with "bust" written on his forehead. We've got a new sheriff in town now though. Let's see what JD's got.
Yes but their thought process was hat there’d be better WRs available in the later rounds. Teams knew the jets had a ton of picks & were desperate for WR help so made sure to cash in on the deep talent pool before jets pick
Sadly, you didn't have to hope for long. I was crushed when the damn Colts took him! I was screaming "Refuse to sign with them!" at the TV. LOL
There are still a lot of quality WR left. A lot of skill players that can start in this league left. Have faith. Let's gooooooo Joe D.
The more WR’s that go off the board, the more I agree with this... talent at other spots is going to fall now to 48... and these teams taking WRs arent going to take another one before the Jets select rd. 3... navigating the draft is an art form...
