It is plenty fast enough, but one of Pittman's knocks is his ability to create seperation with his route running.

You can get away with 4.5 speed for sure in the NFL, but you need to be a good route runner.

Anquan Boldin is the perfect example. I believe he ran a 4.5-4.6 at the combine, but he had all the other tools needed to become a stud.

Tyler Johnson's a playmaker with good explosion and size. I'd love to grab him in the 3rd if he's still there.

In some ways the second night of the draft is the most exciting.....

Absolutely. Pittman, Higgins, and Mims are all in the 2nd for a reason. They have things they need to work on but I think they all have the tools necessary to develop into WR1's.

If one of those three are on the board at #48 that will be the pick imo…..

He reminds me a bit more of Vincent Jackson but both similar in play style. He doesn't have to outrun defensive backs because he just out jump and muscle them down field. I think he's going to be really good. We really need a guy that we can isolated away from the two-three receiver side and run a slant on 3rd and 5 for a conversion.

I was never that impressed with Higgins to be honest. He got pushed around by better defensive backs (specifically Okudah). He seems frail.

I'm right there with you! I didn't think it was possible but I'm almost more excited for tonight than last night with the Jets potentially having 3 picks tonight.

I agree and I hope that one of them falls to 48. We could make a lot of progress towards revamping this offense with Becton and one of those guys.

    Bit off topic but....
Curtis Samuel potentially for trade. What would you give up for him? Assuming they want a 3rd and possibly a bit more, 3rd and 6th? Should we make a play for him? Need to sign him to a new contract as well.

I would rather stay put and see how tonight plays out for us. If the board shakes out in our favor, you could get a guy or two that could have similar potential and not require a larger contract.

Plus the Jets could probably get him for less than a second rounder......considering this year's draft.

I hope not. Still need 2 more receivers. I don't wanna see Bellamy out there that's for sure.

Surprised with how many prefer Pittman and Sims to Claypool. I take Claypool of the remaining guys left as I think he has the most upside. I'd be happy with a lot of these guys though.

He has that catch radius Sam needs in a receiver. Remember when Sam and Pryor for that short period were making plays in the EZ?

I’m on board with taking an RB if Dobbins, Swift, Taylor or Akers is there. If not CB or Edge.

One of theses WRs will fall into our lap in the 3rd. Pittman ? Then Golden-Gandy with the other 3rd rounder!

That would be cutting it awfully close......that being said I just saw a strange second round mock that had the Jets taking Josh Jones at #48 and this mock was done after last night....I can see JD taking another OT but not in the second round.

Jones falls to us in the 2nd I’m in! We need a rb to run behind this new and improved Oline. Bell is on his last legs and last year with us. At worst I would hope we secure an RB in round 3.

I like that comparison very much.

Plax was a favorite of mine.
