Getting a long term starting QB is never an awful pick. If he pans out, the Packers are once again set for another decade and a half at QB.
you need to do your research. He's got one of the best lines in the league. He also has one of the top running backs in the league that can catch along with Davante Adams. link - https://www.espn.co.uk/nfl/story/_/...s-rushing-rankings-2019-pbwr-prwr-leaderboard
adams was hurt a lot he was throwing to scrub tier WRs all year long and still got it done his down year was still elite. you are ignoring the injuries
He wasn't elite last year, but Jones should have been involved even more in the passing game while Adams was out. Still doesn't change the fact that you said they had a bad offensive line.
not elite? 4k yards 26TDs to 4 INTs 13-3 record 95 QBR 2 4QC 3 GWD plus adams missed 4 games and didn't break 1k yards no other WR broke 500. his 3 leaders were old broke jimmy graham, MVS and lazard. worse then what sam was throwing to by far even with Q and robby out
i thought the line got banged up too. guess it was just the WRs. still the point stands rodgers was elite with nobody to throw to
THM: it wasn't about "#4" or wherever Andrew Thomas was picked--as you said, players rise, players fall. What I was referring to was NC lecturing about Thomas being a bad fit for the Jets solely because he played (according to him) in a man/power scheme at George....which was 100% wrong. I even quoted Thomas himself (stating how he played zone and wide zone) if only to let NC know that he was spreading bullshit information. So what does the chaffed attention whore do? Say "sorry, I stand corrected?" Nope, instead the self-absorbed board hog goes dull psycho on poor me...haha... (e.g. below post)... And why wouldn't he have been a "good fit?" (you conveniently forgot to add why): because you 100% incorrectly pontificated about how he played in an offensive scheme at Georgia that was incompatible with the Jets' zone scheme? Sorry m'man but you were wrong. You wanna hog the board with one "I, I," post after another? Fine, but when you're 100% wrong, 100% full of shit then pardon me if you get called on it. "You really are a fucking dumbass!!!" <--- nice. : ) Yes, you flipping out with your obscenities and exclamation points are pwning me. Good job Tar Heel. You see, you self-absorbed paranoid little freak? . Every one of your posts is "about you" ..... about your paw widdle fweelings..... Hey, lecture us again about Henry Ruggs: . another 100% whiff there....waytogo! . back to work....it's been fun .
Rodgers throws the football away at a record breaking rate which is why he doesn't generate more interceptions. He wasn't elite last year, he actually became way more conservative and hurt his team in certain situations, playing it safe ... yeah MVS wasn't great but you gotta keep trying, analysts noticed his mechanics weren't great, he missed throws he usually makes. They should've taken a receiver, but GB doesn't draft receivers in the first round. They draft defensive players and QBs. Rodgers talent will continue to regress, but he needs to become more fundamentally sound. He will bounce back.
GB can always trade ARod if Love is the real deal. If he’s not then they will cut him as they did a number of QBs they have drafted in the ARod era.
save your breath i stopped talking to him long ago. he's always wrong but throws a fit to pretend he's right and harasses people. reminds me of this
so you are making a smart decision a negative? maybe he's throwing it away because nobody is open because his WRs suck
Its at a record breaking rate, you can still kill drives and like I mentioned he became more conservative. You need to take risks at the opportune moments. Aaron Jones doesn't suck at catching the football, and he was used in the passing game a lot.
