I like the pick and love the fact that Douglas is paying so much attention to shoring up the O-line. I'd like to see a receiver next and maybe a center with one of our 3rd round picks depending on who is left on the board.

I would’ve preferred Lamb. But can’t be mad at this pick. Looks like Bell will be able to have some room to run, Darnold will have more than a .05 second chance to pass. Hopefully we can make him into much more than he already is.

We have a line ladies and gentlemen...

This would be a tremendously bad night for us if the Dolphins get a franchise QB and star receiver to go along with him.

All I can say is this. Our Offensive line coach better show us how talented he is with all these additions to the OL. No fucking escuses.

As it stands now, I really like this pick. I think they got a player with a sky high ceiling at the position of greatest need. That shows to me, that at the very least Douglas understands positional value where his predecessors didn't.

If the Jets can land a WR in rounds two and three/four, I will be elated and consider this draft a huge success.

How can anyone be upset by this? The offensive line fucking sucked last year. They go and land a monster left tackle to fix that and you are mad??? What??

I am not mad. I like that we still went OT. But I am concerned about his red flags. It is what it is. I am the biggest Becton supporter now but felt like Wirfs was the safer pick. If not at OT we could have used Wirfs at Guard. I hope you are right BN.

This should have happened A DECADE AGO when Faneca and Woody were aging... Remember when the Jets had the best run game in the league with pedestrian Thomas Jones at runningback? Hopefully Becton works out and we return to the Jets of the 2000s and early 2010s when we dominated in the trenches.

Was expecting to take Wirfs but the more I read and see I like the Becton pick. We are helping Sam by being able to run the damn ball. This is great. Such a deep WR class that I have no problem passing up on those WR's. I am pretty amped , this guy has tremendous upside.

THe best part about the becton pick is that he doesn’t even have to be technically perfect. He is that damn big where being average with his technique can lead to great things.
